I don’t usually leave reviews, but Town and Country Mpumalanga deserves it. The hosts could not be kinder—they made us feel instantly at home. The property is serene and beautifully kept; it’s cozy, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, delicious, and clearly made with great ingredients and care. I only stayed for one night, but I’ll definitely return for a longer stay. It’s the perfect place to relax, reset, and disconnect.

I enjoyed everything from the initial interaction with the hosts wanting to know what time I would like to check in, to the breakfasts in the morning with the host chatting to me while cooking breakfast. What a wonderful few days.

A Hidden Gem in Middleburg! I absolutely loved everything about this guest house and truly wished I had booked a longer stay. I’m definitely coming back the next time I visit Middleburg. The family who runs the place is incredibly warm and welcoming. The husband is well-traveled and full of fascinating stories,he will definitely inspire you to travel.Tthe wife and their children are so kind—they even gifted me plant cuttings when I left, which I found incredibly thoughtful and I truly appreciate it. As a runner, I really appreciated their local guidance - they recommended a great route for my morning run, which made the experience even better. The garden is beautiful and peaceful—plant lovers will be in heaven. Breakfast was delicious, and the attention to detail in the room really stood out. I stayed in a budget room, but it felt like a five-star experience. It was well-stocked with coffee, tea, and rusks, and equipped with electric blankets, rechargeable lights, and candles—perfect for any potential loadshedding. This place gave me exactly the recharge I needed. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful garden and accomodation. Safe parking. Stunning outdoor lapa/social area...Warm fire place with comfortable couches to relax after a long day of seminar or meetings. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

As most guesthouses are, it is a place to put your head down for the night and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Town and Country did this and some more. Facilities are neat and clean. It is a definite thumbs up from me and we will keep this saved for any future stays.

A wedding brought us to Middelburg and Jaco called us to confirm that he was expecting us. He also sent us a message with the location pin. The room was ready earlier than anticipated so we managed to check in an hour earlier than the official time. The property is well kept, clean and quaint. A hidden gem. Jaco even made breakfast for us himself and struck up a conversation with us. We felt very welcome. It's a beautiful place and real value for money. I'll be back.
