There was nothing to dislike, everything exceeded expectations, especially given our last-minute booking and specific needs with our pet. I am a pet lover, so NOTHING to dislike!

I loved the warm welcome from the host, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially with our newly adopted dachshund’s socialization and separation anxiety issues. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and equipped with coffee, tea, TV, internet, and DSTV, making it a relaxing stay. The property is beautifully maintained, architecturally pleasing, and in a lovely area of Port Elizabeth. The host’s pets were friendly and added to the charm of the place.

The shower glass door in our room was not there....and headboard need to be stabilized and fix bcos it makes noise during happy time.

Bev!!! You're a star, thank you so much for the wonderful stay. We were a family of 3, mom, son (8y/o) and myself, Bev was sooooo helpful to us, she was even willing to offer us an early check in since we were travelling from North West for a graduation ceremony starting at 2pm. Facility is clean, neighbourhood is safe, everything is just perfect, good value for your money. Again, Bev, thank you so much ❤️

It felt like home. We were nicely relaxed and definitely used the pool. Everything was clean, comfortable and host was nice and communicatkon was tops.

Not a deal breaker but when booking, check out times says from 9:30 am to 11am. Should rather start 10am as this is checking out time.

Bev, the owner is friendly and we received a warm welcome. Perfect for a family get away with Beach, Boardwalk and variety of restaurants in a comfortable proximity. Quiet and safe especially have my kids with.

While the location is in Summerstrand, it’s quite a long walk to the beach if you don’t have a car or prefer to stroll, especially with children. There is a small complex nearby, and the Boardwalk is a bit further, but still a stretch on foot when accompanied by little ones. The night we checked in was quite humid, making for a hot and sticky evening. This wasn’t the host's fault, as she did offer an extension cord to bring one fan closer to the rooms. The noise factor from the fan was just the issue.

Easy check-in with clear and helpful communication from the host, who was also friendly and hospitable—a definite plus. The self-catering unit was very well-equipped, making it a true gem! It also had a spacious bathroom with a shower, and everything was impeccably clean.

Although we had fans in every room, the nights were very hot. Aircons would have been excellent.

Bev and her team were simply outstanding. Loved all the little thoughtful touches like mosquito repellants that made our stay not only comfortable but home away from home. The uncapped wifi and full dstv and netflix was also a bonus. Daily house keeping at no additional cost was most appreciated. The area is quite and peaceful. The garden, pool and outdoor area was simply fantastic. We loved it so much that we wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately it was fully booked. We most definitely will choose Toscana Cottage as our go to place the next time we in PE

The cottage was very lovely, my family really enjoyed the time spent there. Location was wonderful, it was close to the airport and Boardwalk. Will definitely book again when I visit Gqeberha again.
