The water system needs to be enhanced

The price was high, checkout was early (10am) and the restaurant for dinner closed earlier than expected.

The room was absolutely beautiful! It was very big with a huge bed and amazing facilities such as a fireplace. The location was stunning as it was right on the waterfront with a view of the bay. The breakfast was delicious and a very big portion. There was a bottle of wine in the room on arrival.

Everything was amazing. The restaurant is independently owned and managed. The resident's menu is the same each day. Great food but boring after a few days. Rooms and accommodation were fantastic.

Outside furniture cushions were wet on arrival, as a 5 star establishment I would have expected this to have been checked.

Situated on the shoreline with views across the bay. In house restaurant was exceptional.

The hotel is in an unbelievable special hidden away location almost toes in the waves from your room terrace, staff were fantastic & always above and beyond, the food was excellent though we didn’t try the tasting menu.

Absolutely everything about this place is amazing. My husband and I stayed for three nights and we had the best time. The views are phenomenal and the staff are attentive and welcoming and really make you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a treat!

Our room, Zanzibar, was the closest to the main building so there was quite a lot of door slam noise and food smells when the kitchen is operational. Especially when they are preparing breakfast early in the morning. Wine glasses in the wind are treacherous! No fault of the hotel.

Absolutely breathtaking location right at the entrance to chapmans peak drive. View is just unreal and is such a treat to wake up to and look out over every morning. Staff cannot do enough for you and are all so lovely and friendly. Hotel is well appointed and immaculately clean. Restaurant is also really great, chefs tasting is solid but we really enjoyed the al la carte even more. Dishes prepared with care and attention. Highly recommended.

Would have loved to stay longer!

We were treated like VIP's from the moment we arrived. Staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The entire two days that we spent at Tintswalo was exceptional: beautiful rooms, great views, food, service and just overall. I cannot wait to return. Highly recommended!
