When I looked at the reviews I thought I have to try and It was everything the reviews said it would be. I was contacted beforehand to make check in easier. The owners were extremely helpful to make sure that I had everything I need and the breakfast was really great. I will definitely return here on my next business trips.

My husband and I loved everything about the place, they have such a friendly and kind staff, the food is amazing, the place is beautiful and spacious, such a value for money. We're definitely going back next year.

Some effort is required to improve the breakfast experience 1. Option of warm milk for cereals 2. Bacon seemed to have been boiled not fried. 3. Chips seemed to have been boiled not friend 4. Fillings for omelets wasn't done properly

The facilities are very clean, the owners are the most generous people I've ever seen. They make sure they attend to your needs. The area also is very safe I would recommend this place to anyone it is indeed real value for your money.

Clothing cupboard smelled mouldy, Kitchen cupboards smelled as if they hadn't been opened in a while, crockery and cutlery smelled like they had been dried with a smelly tea towel. Feet dirty after walking on the tiled floor. Minor complaints in comparison to some experiences...

Super secure, very helpful and friendly staff. Reasonably well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, comfy bed, tastefully decorated. Always nice to have couches and chairs in the room as well.

Breakfast was plentiful, but more choice could be given - suggest a form to complete the day before, according to the needs of the guest.

Great communication from hosts before and during the stay. Clean, comfortable room and furnishings - felt like home. Modern fittings and extra touches. Bottles of water and fresh milk in a full sized fridge. Pool looked pristine.

The host were so lovely and even gave us a free ride to the city! The place had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the security of the accomodations and the nice welcoming. We definitely recommend it!

Everything. I was a bit skeptical when I saw The Travel Inn being so cheap and yet having its rating. I was pleasantly surprised upon getting there though. My expectations were exceeded. A rating of 100/10 is more appropriate! Tertius and Thabisile are excellent hosts. Of course, their own travel experiences adds up in helping them make The Travel Inn one of the best places you can lodge in Durban at such affordable prices. Tertius and Thabisile also transported us at their own costs without asking for any dime from us. We even got complimentary footwears. If the accomodation is available for your dates, you will never go wrong with this place. Book it immediately, thank me later. (~_*) Thank you Thabisile, thank you Tertius. You were excellent in hosting us and we equally love your dynamics as a couple.

Everything about the place. I'm lost for words, everything was perfect my partner and I loved it, from the welcoming to touring the place, the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom setting also perfect, outside chilling areas tjooo the list is endless and the staff exceptional experience we will definately be returning for many of our time off weekends We also loved it as my partner and I went out and when we came back our room was spotless

All is 100% ,one cannot complain. Great atmosphere and security is high.

Very quiet and Peaceful environment. We loved it very much and the food was well prepared excellent taste. Will definitely return when working or on holiday. Hosts are so kind and helpful and I wish them all the best for the future.

Toilet needs an extractor.fan for hygiene reasons. Shower drainage needs suctioning, as water is clogging up. Sensor lights need override switch. If there was one, we were not aware of it.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer

What an awesome 👌 couple this is definitely the best place I've ever stayed in. ❤️ And I've stayed in alot of places. The security check is definitely worth it. Nice and centrally located however very quite and safe environment 👍 👌 that's a yes for me.
