What a wonderful guest house, superb location and gracious staff. We wanted a getaway weekend and the Oystercatchers Haven was ideal. The room was so comfortable with a great view of the beach, quiet with the rolling surf. Staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was outstanding.

This is one of my favourite places to stay in the entire South Africa. The boutique hotel is seamless, service warm and professional, room spacious and elegant. What makes it special, though, is its position straight on the beach, offering breathtaking views, specially at sunset.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! What a stunning place to stay. The views are incredible. Host is friendly and welcoming! Room was stunning! We had the most amazing breakfast! Attention to detail on the everything! We did not want to leave!

Breakfast, location and general energy of this place were unmatched. Felt relaxed and cared for from the get-go, without feeling smothered as you can do in smaller, more intimate guesthouses. Super clean, super comfy, little touches thought of throughout and an excellent host. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

The location was perfect, right on the beach. A lovely stroll to great restaurants. We stayed in room 4 and it was bliss to sit on your own sun bed right outside the door and watch the sun set every evening.

The best! We could have breakfast in the private of our own patio with the most beautiful view. Freshly baked scone and nothing was too much to ask. The staff were exceptional!

If you get room #4, praise the Lord. The view is amazing and the feeling is as you are one with the sea and beach. your host Ansu is wonderful, the girls working the place very sweet and great! Brakfast excellent! it is your place of tranquility and heaven while you are in Paternoster.

Perfect location, right on the beach where the views were fantastic. It was comfortable, quiet and the staff made you so welcome! Ansu was the perfect host and the 3 course breakfast was superb.

Everything!!!! The guest house is just above the beach. The view of the beach is stunning! We had sea views from our rooms from every angle! There were sunbeds right outside our rooms, close to the pool. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the place is spotless. The decor is very tasteful, old world mixed with modern. We had coffee/tea making facilities in our rooms. Breakfast was delicious and so beautifuly presented! The bathrobes and our bed linen turned down for us were just another added touch! I highly recommend The Oystercatcher's Haven!

We loved everything

Perfect location! We stayed in room 1 which has the beach at your doorstep! We loved the furnishings in the room, it had so much character. The breakfast was lovely. Would love to come back again one day! Thank you to our lovely hostess and the lovely staff who were so friendly and welcoming.
