The water pressure was very low and there was no hot water. The shower did not work at all however there was a little bit of cold water coming out of the taps on the bath so just enough to wash.

The location is stunning, set a little way out of town the setting is peaceful and located own a small dam in the countryside. Still near enough to town should you need to go there. The restaurant is fantastic with views across a small dam and the menu altoough old school has enough variety to satisfy any taste

No breakfast on Sundays, showers needs some attention, toilet seat sliding side wats ,towels not changed , dinner on Saturday was okay , could have been nice if what we wanted on the menu was there , had to order chops which were overly done but the restaurant and view is amazing and the location is the best.

It seems the property has dropped standards since l was last hear. I sent an email asking whether the restaurant opens on a Sunday, I only got the response after had checked out. The hotel is located close to the main road but there was no security personnel in attendance. There was absolutely no service during our stay.

I made full payment on Bookings. Com and when I checked in the property informed me that the price paid at Bookings. Com was incorrect. I had to pay another R650.00 or find other accommodation.

It’s located close to the main road entering Kokstad and I didn’t have to ride out of my way to stay the night.

This was my second time here and both times the rooms don’t/didn’t have an iron , a dryer , there was only one teaspoon for coffee /tea and only one side plate otherwise everything else was great

The Wi-Fi and network as a whole was terrible but that is not in their control. That's all

I recently stayed at this place and found it to be quite peaceful. Although it was very cold, the electric blankets provided made it manageable. The only downside was the network connectivity, as the Wi-Fi was very slow. Despite that, we were able to sleep peacefully and enjoy our stay.

Rooms we were booked in did not have network. Please do something about it. We were told at reception that there were other rooms available (that met our requirements - 2 single beds) that we could have been booked in with network connection. At least we could have been warned on confirmation before arrival.

The place needs a bit of TLC and money spending on it. Kitchen only had a couple of different things on the menu and only 4 bottles of beer in the fridge. Needs investment from the owners before I would stay again

No globe in room light, only one chair on verandah ( had to fetch another one myself), very few available items on menu, room stank of cigarettes, lighting shocking,no milk or teaspoon for coffee, very thin towels.

They must just check that all the rooms' DSTV works Also the bedside lamp on the right (as you look at the bed) didn't work. Maybe just fix that. Heater in the room next to it did not work

Peaceful getaway Beautiful rooms Listening to the wildlife while falling asleep was utter bliss. Staff went OUT of their way to assist us!! I'm SUPER impressed!
