We stayed in unit 2.What an fantastic room!!!!.The room is spacious and the interior décor is really eloquent. The staff are very friendly and their attention to detail is commendable.The honesty bar is well stocked.The burning fireplace through out the day keeps the whole area warm and cosy.We have stayed in many hotels and 5star units in Franschoek but this hotel is by far the best.We will be back!!!

EVERYTHING! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The accommodation was spotless and it certainly catered for our every need and then some! The breakfast was superb and the turn down service added an additional notch to the hospitality of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Everything was Perfect!

Attention to detail and personalized service. This is a small hotel and Conrad and Franklin and the entire staff team take every measure to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. The hotel is beautiful and is walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The breakfast is amazing and the rooms are beautiful and huge! They do an amazing turn down service night as well. It really feels like they are taking care of you personally. You almost forget there are other guests at the hotel. I have stayed at lots of lovely hotels over the years but this one steals the show!

The superior suit no 10 which we stayed in was very luxurious only down side was that the TV was small and very far away from the bed...maybe best to get a bigger TV for such a large size room.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was clean & very comfortable. Staff very accommodating.

Nothing in particular but one suggestion would be a slightly more casual breakfast as having the continental option + cooked perhaps creates some food waste. A minor comment as everything else was exceptional

From start to finish, our stay was fantastic. The décor throughout the hotel was absolutely stunning — stylish, warm, and full of perfect little touches that made the space feel truly special. One highlight was having tea and coffee brought to our room, accompanied by a delicious slice of tart — such a thoughtful and lovely surprise. Breakfast was equally impressive, beautifully presented and full of fresh, flavorful options. The staff were wonderful: warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend and would absolutely return!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Our room was incredibly spacious (we booked a pool suite), and the service we received from Conrad and Franklin was excellent. Their breakfasts are very good with a lovely selection and they accommodated us in all ways (such as with almond milk, etc). The hotel is also nice and central, which is a perfect walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We spent the most wonderful two days at The Last Word, Franschhoek. From the moment we were met at the gate, to the moment we left, all staff were absolutely wonderful. Every part of the hotel was immaculate and the colour scheme was very jewel like. Our room was very big with everything you could possibly want. A peaceful paradise in the middle of a very busy village. We will certainly be back.

We had a great stay at the charming boutique hotel The Last Word! Conrad and his team were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was large and beautifully designed, the breakfast was fantastic—fresh and delicious. It’s the perfect place to unwind and soak in the charm of Franschhoek.
