Very accessible to the wharfs/piers for boat tours and to Boulders Beach to view the penguins. Sue and Jonathan were wonderful managers in their own way — Jonathan made the best omelettes and Sue offered to drive my friend and I down to the wharf for our boat tour.

Lovely place, great views, charming garden and various terraces. Awesome breakfast. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They gave me a wonderful room and helped me find a driver taking me to some vineyards.

Staff members at the Grossvenor are fantastic and were always alert to help with any questions. Breakfast was also great and abundant. The location is great and close to Simon's town center. Keep in mind that there are plenty of stairs if you are doing this on foot. The house is also closeby to clean and nice beaches, including those ones where you can see the Pinguins.

What a fantastic view. Everything else was amazing too, the staff, my room, the breakfast, the pool and garden, good wifi. There was a tuctuc for 60 rand each way down to the town. There was a takeaway service if you wanted an evening meal. Really close to Boulders Beach and the penguins. Highly recommended!

Nothing - everything was wonderful!!

This is a really beautiful , gracious property . The decor is elegant and we loved all the artwork. Nice touches like water and sherry for our enjoyment. Sue and Jonathan made us feel very much at home. They allowed us to leave our bags at the property before check in and also after check out. The room is huge, airy with a wonderful comfortable bed. Nice coffee and tea making facilities. A spacious bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat - a wonderful view and a delicious selection of hot and cold breakfast items to enjoy. Very good coffee too. Free parking in a secure location. We were made to feel so comfortable and well looked after. I only wish we'd had more time there to enjoy it all!! Also very close to Boulders Beach and walking distance in to the cute town. We'll be back and thank you!

Not the guest houses fault but the traffic to get to Simon’s Town was awful. We had to stay closer to the airport the second night because of the exceptionally slow commute.

Comfortable and well situated, we were warmly greater by Jonathan upon arrival and felt very welcome. Beautiful views from the room and the breakfast terrace. We stayed for one night but would come back again. Nice breakfast, prepared with care. Thank you!

The only reason I marked down one star in location is the stairs. There are some going up to the property from street level but if you decide to take the short cut walking down to the town, there are lots 😩

Spacious, very clean, welcoming staff. Use of downstairs lounge and balcony and outdoor area. Breakfast was lovely sat on balcony. We could see the whales in the bay. Sue & Jonathon were very good. Would definitely come again

Door knobs in the smaller bedroom had protruding screws, a potential danger of scratching ones arms. This was reported to staff and will no doubt be fixed.

Everything well-appointed.One large bedroom had a magnificent view and its own balcony with outdoor sofa, the other smaller bedroom had little view but a magnificent bathroom with its own small balcony and view. Excellent breakfasts. A good choice of continental and cooked breakfast, with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and cereal, toasts eggs, etc. on a veranda with a wonderful view of the Bay. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating.
