Morning after check in shower was lukewarm but corrected itself.

What was not to like? From the excellent food, accomodation to friendly staff, spotless establishment, every bit of service was on point!don't get me started on the massage.... I didnt want to leave.

We loved everything about our stay at The Glen. The staff was exceptional, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and our room had everything we needed and more. We loved all the little extras throughout our stay. The massages we got at the spa were some of the best we’ve ever had.

No gym

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. Even in winter, it felt like a luxurious retreat. The room was spotless and cozy, with a private balcony that added a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi and sauna, which were perfect for relaxing after a day out. The pool area was stunning, and while we didn’t get to use it because of the weather, it’s definitely a reason to return in summer. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—an elegant spread of fresh pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, bagels with lox and avocado, along with a cooked item each day. The variety of eggs Benedict, including a standout Eggs Florentine, made it feel like a boutique brunch experience. What really made our stay special was the attentive and genuinely kind staff. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. We can’t wait to come back!

The Geln Boutique Hotel was an absolutely gorgeous stay! My sister and I visited in April '25 and we were treated like royalty. The room was the perfect size looking out onto the pool with a small bathroom also in the room. The hotel feels personal (a home from home) and the staff want to get to know you and cater to your specific travel plans. The breakfast was a true feast! Every breakfast item that you could image was on offer and all freshly prepared and laid out for the guests. If you like a quiet, small-ish, boutique hotel, with delish breakfast, this is for you. I've travelled to over 50 countries and this is my favourite hotel to date. Thank you so much Glen Boutique staff!

The team at glen boutique are the nicest people you’ll ever meet - so helpful and happy. Special shout out to Taps. Breakfast and food was delicious, so many options. Pool and spa looked great too, but weren’t used as we were busy sightseeing. We loved our stay!

Honestly, there is nothing negative to say.

From the moment we arrived at The Glen Boutique Hotel, we were wrapped in warmth, luxury, and the kind of hospitality that’s hard to put into words. The staff were absolutely lovely – warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special mention must go to Taps, whose energy, professionalism, and charm make it hard to imagine staying anywhere else on future visits to Cape Town. He truly went above and beyond, making our stay unforgettable. The gin bar was an absolute treat – beautifully curated, relaxed, and the perfect way to unwind. The rooms? Divine. They smell incredible (still not sure what scent that is, but I need it in my life!), and every detail was beautifully thought out.

The water pressure in the shower is just awful, such a let down to a perfect stay.

The hotel is beautiful. The room was flawless. have to say some of the best staff i have ever encountered. The breakfast is absolutly beautiful.
