I enjoyed everything about my stay. The rooms were neat and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The views were really amazing. I loved laying in bed and watching the lake and ocean early in the morning.

The very noisy guests disturbing the peace and quiet of this hotel. Guests need to be more considerate. The slamming of doors and loud talking started at 6.30am on a Sunday morning! Sounds of the guests showering upstairs was so loud as if it was in our own bathroom. A heater and thicker blankets for winter is recommended.

Stunning views from this Cape Dutch styled hotel with an interesting history. We loved the large, spacious, clean and comfortable room with its king size bed. A buffet dinner was available at R280 pp. Breakfast was very good.

We had a really great stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were all excellent from security to reception to the waitresses and the barman. All very friendly. Buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious with a huge variety of options.

Bathroom towels are too old, need to be changed. Limited range of food to choose from. Rooms were not on the same standard eg. the other room has wifi and the other one has none.

The food and the whole service was amazing. The staff was very welcoming, thanks to Samke and her team. The area where a hotel is situated and it's nature is giving life.

Food was delicious 😋 I asked to meet Memory(hopefully I got the name right)the chef👩‍🍳 cos the curries was sooooo amazing 👏 🤩 i gave her a big hug and thanked for the delicious meal. Oh yes i have to mention the 1 night we ordered room service, we choose a pizza, the base was the best i have eaten 😋 I found the baked goodies to be a little dry, however overall the staff were great👍

I would only ask that they trim the tree branches at the entrance to the Hotel off the main road, they are currently obscuring the hotel signage an its easy to miss the turn off to the Hotel.

The front desk staff are super efficient and welcoming. The Hotel location provides picture perfect views of the Estuary and Ocean. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant staff are pleasant, attentive and helpful, without hovering over you. We had a truly lovely stay at The Estuary Hotel and Spa and would certainly go back for another visit, especially since we did not try out the lovely spa treatments this time round.

The beach area is not accessible for people staying at the hotel.

The views from our bedroom were excellent. The rooms were easily accessible from the parking area which made it easy for me to manage with an elderly mum. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was warm and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

The hotel is a bit 'tired' and old fashioned, but that is common on the Wild Coast. However, the linen and beds were comfortable and everything worked. The wifi was weak in the rooms, but ok in the public areas.

It's a charming old hotel in a beautiful location. The staff are very competent, friendly and welcoming. The buffet style dining was what one would expect of a country hotel, given the challenges with getting provisions in a remote location - a good selection of options, not adventurous but tasty. We would be happy to return.

The bins in the rooms must be the open dird bins. Yes the small ones are ideal for bathroom only. Buildings need face upliftment painting and taking care of the moisture damages.

Internet, WIFI is almost not existing. Telephone reception not everywhere. The restaurant: old days tiny ,in diameter,plates ( for starters and for the main course), black table cloth, black nupkins and black staff uniforms in the rainy days make you beleive that you are at the funiral parlor... The menu items ,as well as the kitchen execution of it, is probably well recieved by the targeted audience. It was not our cup of tea though. But every staff member is friendly and very helpfull

Old Constantia style architecture, Beautiful, well-maintained territory with amazing view. very peaceful and quiet surrounding. It is 3-star hotel, so expect 3-star experience at its best
