The TV was not working and the room we were in did not have a bar fridge atleast

I like the quietness and the cleanliness we found when we got to the place. We also felt safe and were not worried about any theft.

BATHING WITH COLD WATER ON MY 1ST MORNING, BUT THAT IMPROVED AFTER COMPLAINING

BREAKFAST WAS BASIC BUT CANNOT COMPLAIN A LOT DUE TO THE LITTLE BOOKING MONEY I PAID.

Some things I didn't like, but were bearable (something to take note of) - The showerhead was tilted to the side and I couldn't adjust it - but I could live with that, hence I did not report it -(I would like to believe it would have been sorted - if I had reported it) - The gym has a huge window, and during my session, some gentlemen kept moving up and down (which I had no issue with because I figured that is how they get to their rooms), the problem was when one of them came in and asked to watch. I genuinely found that uncomfortable. I only used it that one time - so take note of that as well - Also, I am aware of the room I booked, but prior to my arrival, I requested that we get a room with two separate single beds and the lady I spoke to promised it would be done, but upon my arrival, they told me they could not do that because that is not what I booked for...fortunately my colleague was another female so I could live with that. Things to majorly improve on: - The room could use some maintenance. Some floor tiles were broken, and the shower didn't have a soap holder. The small window by the door does not close - Thank you for the free breakfast - extremely grateful - but the coffee! Bad is an understatement - Certain rooms don't have coffee/tea-making facilities, and ours was one of those rooms, so we had to go outside to the kitchen to make coffee/tea, which was an inconvenience, especially in a cold winter. - Could use a locked storage or some locker space for our bags

For the event I was attending at Gallagher Convention Centre, the place is perfectly located, and is closer to Boulders Mall and other shopping centres. I also liked the fact that they provided free breakfast Although small and still in the making, I liked the gym space; they had enough yoga mats and a few weights (also benches), but they don't have any cardio equipment and heavy weightlifting yet - the guy said they were still basically putting the gym together. I had a pleasant experience with the staff members (especially the day receptionist - I forgot her name) and the chef with the glasses We were booked in room 28. At first, we were worried because the room doesn't get any sunlight, but the room was warm enough, in addition to the electric blanket (which my colleague loved), they gave us a heater, so we were warm, and the shower had hot water. Loved the code key-thingy! TIP: Please read all the reviews first before booking!!

We were told breakfast is from 7 to 9 if not 10 but by the time we went to the kitchen at 8:30, there was no food enough yo cater for the two couples. What dispsapointed me most was when the reception lady says she prepared little food to save. Why are they offering breakfast if they can't cater for such. Rather increase the price to accommodate breakfast than to surprise us when we are supposed to dine.

Venue was easy to access, security inside the rooms as well as the price for overnight accommodation was reasonable.
