Excellent location. Beautiful decor. Overall a very comfortable stay. Hosts were great! Cottage is wonderfully private with all the necessary amenities - microwave, gas burner, hair dryer, and a well equipped kitchen. Would very happily stay again.

There's absolutely nothing not to like!!!

The warm welcome of Teri made us realise we have come back home. It was our second stay. From the homemade cheese straws to the delicious olives, a lovely fireplace, very comfortable bed and excellent shower- this lovely cottage offers everything you could ever wish for. We highly recommend it - and can't wait to hopefully book again soon.

The property was set in a petty garden and we had use of the swimming pool. Teri, the owner, was very friendly and gave us helpful information about walking trails; she even gave us a lift to the start of one route. There are good trails in close proximity, so it was nice to avoid having to drive. There were extremely comfortable sofas and chairs and the living/dining area was spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean and a lot of thought clearly goes into the whole thing --- tasty snacks and fresh milk were waiting for us when we arrived, and Teri provided plenty of recommendations for eating out. There is a great second-hand bookshop in town. We will definitely stay again!

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. They even made dinner renovations for us. We will definitely be back soon!

A charming cottage beautifully designed and well equipped in an idyllic countryside setting! We enjoyed every minute and wished we could have stayed longer. Teri and Ren are most hospitable, gracious hosts. The village is very charming and has a couple really good restaurants. We had a dinner at MUD (Teri's recommendation) and the Karoo Lamb was delicious. Great base for exploring the area and relaxing.

There is no Aircon, but the cottage has a very high ceiling and windows on both side which ensured that the heat was never a problem. Cool down very quickly in the evenings.

Everything! It is located in an idyllic setting and the property itself is beautiful. It is very artfully and tastefully decorated. It is also extremely comfortable, bright and airy! The hosts are amazing and do kind and helpful. It is one of our favourite properties not only in South Africa but in the world (and we travel a lot).

The attention to detail inside the room was incredible. There were snacks available upon arrival. Everything was well thought out, everything we needed was available for use. For example, wood for the fire, firelighters, lighter, serviettes and everything else you could think of. They even catered for entertaining yourself such as reading materials. The hostess was super helpful with giving us recommendations where to eat and where to visit.

This is a lovely, neat, and well-equippes cottage with plenty of character in the fine details of its interior decor. On our first evening, we were spoiled with delicious cheese and crackers to enjoy with our cocktails on the patio. Wonderful coffee and rusks were also set out for us in the kitchen. Our hostess made fantastic recommendations for restaurants and local attractions to visit.

Teri was a fantastic and attentive host without being intrusive, the accommodation is perfect for a peaceful country getaway, a definitive must to unwind and just get away from it all. We will be returning for a longer stay to do this amazing location the justice it deserves.
