In the room, the TV remote didn't work, the shower was very small, the hand basin was loose. There were very little halaal options, I don't expect any facility to cater entirely to my diet, but some more options would just be nice.

Staff were friendly. Facilities were clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Hotel staff failed to book my spa as requested on my booking which resulted in us not being able to visit the spa . The restaurant in the hotel could not supply a cup of coffee, machine not working. Only one restaurant open in the casino , take away pizza and pasta type ; no room service or deliveries to the hotel. Hotel bar closed , only open on a Friday and Saturday night. I went to work in the lounge and asked the staff to please make a fire in the fireplace, loads to wood available, still waiting for them to return 🤨

On a positive note , hotel been repainted , carpets replaced and rooms upgraded.

I did not like the outdated rooms. For the price we pay I feel I needed to see more luxury. I did not like that we were not informed beforehand that the hot springs needed maintenance every Monday. This must be posted online when booking.

Pools should be cleaned more regularly, could see dirt in pool..was packed with people and not really clean.

The hot springs were nice but some were harder than others to find. It was unclear by the decription that breakfast was included. It was included and it was really good, but we didn't know until we were about to check out. We had dinner at one of the restaurants near the casino and didn't love it.

The hotel itself is new looking the rooms are clean and big. The restaurant is great and the outside facilities are awesome.

Outdated furniture and spoilt furniture . The chair was dirty and had holes in the material.

The hotel is in desperate need of maintenance. The wash basin was broken and lighting poor as I needed a space to work on my laptop.

the room which we saw on booking.com was not the same although it was a double room. we moved to three different rooms. carpets and furniture in room needs to be replaced.

beakfast was okay although the halal side was catering for non halal quest as well. not a big variety for halal quest not even a piece of fish was offered. we only had eggs and toast

The last day at the buffer breakfast,one of the staff members was quite rude. The aircon in the room is very loud and showers switch from hot and cold without touching the taps. The wifi is a bit weak and there is no room service. My husband and I bought food from one of the restaurants and when we called for it to be warmed they could not accommodate us which was very disappointing.

We loved the pools, it was spectacular. They were able to assist me with surprising my husband with champagne and rose petals in our room. We wanted to stay an extra night and we were accommodated.

We haven't been in a long time. We got a suite with fire place and a 3 year old. Would of preferred ground level where she can play outside. We had no idea where what was. No staff explained where spa was and what there was, how pools worked, play area for kids, restaurants, games place for little one. We had to ask multiple staff as we were walking around. On check in We let them know the safe box doesn't work and no tv remote. We told them we going out to see what is where, hours later still no safe box. Called them, they were not aware of it. There's a phone yeah but you don't know what do dial for reception. Just a bad start to our 2 day breakaway The pizza pasta place, omygoodness, I think 2 ladies ran the whole place making food and service. So many people complaining. Pizza was good though. Breakfast was nice. We thought there might of been a holiday program for kids. Disappointed there was nothing. The kitchenette we at least expected a microwave and better fridge. We won't back. Holiday times avalon in montagu with a 3 year old, is better for us.

The bathrooms could do with some renovations, I think the time for standing in your bath to take a shower has come and gone. Some guests were a bit noisy coming back to their rooms late at night. Maybe a few signs around to ask people to be quiet after 22:00 would be nice.

The hotel room was nice and clean, beds were comfy and the breakfast was really good quality for a buffet. The stand out is obviously the hot springs which are just amazing to visit in winter.

The hotel parking was far from the hotel. No room service Breakfast - Understaffed. Resulting in long queues (min 20min wait for an egg) You have to wait for staff to prepare a table for you to sit.

The noise levels of families staying in nearby rooms. The constant door slamming, running and screaming of children made the stay unpleasant especially when we were in our room.

Our stay exceeded our expectation in terms of staff, location, maintenance, breakfast, the pools and especially the spa treatments.
