We only stayed for one night while passing through, but had a great dinner and breakfast. Conveniently situated in a quiet location just outside Oudtshoorn.

Thanks Hennie, we had a wonderful stay at Thabile Lodge, unfortunately only for one night. The room is perfectly cleaned, and we felt like at home talking with you and your wife in the dinner room, next to the wood stove and stroking your lovely dogs! And last but not least, the dinner and the breakfast were amazing!

Excellent location and very well appointed. Really loved the catering beside a roaring fireplace.

Len the Manager did put so much heart in the Lodge. Everything is in detail perfect! He cares about his guest as it is his family!

Comfort and luxury in a beautiful area. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We had an amazing dinner and breakfast.

Beautifully run with excellent meals. We had supper and breakfast. The bedroom was large with a king size bed. The appointments are bush quaint but very welcoming.

We loved the dogs, but be aware there are a couple of beagles and a terrier in residence. They love attention but if you are not used to them, it may worry you. Look carefully for the turnoff to Vergelegen, the owner is still battling the authorities to get a roadside sign.

Great quiet place just outside Oudtshorn, lovely chalets, well designed and great maintained! We had a wonderful dinner with great food, good wines to choose from and a great breakfast.

Amazing place to stay in the Karoo. Rustic lodge style - very South African 🇿🇦. We loved it so much we stayed another night. Len and his team were so welcoming and fun. Breakfasts were yummy. Dinner was really delicious - we ate there both nights. The garden is beautiful, views and sunsets amazing. Great place to stay. Thanks for having us!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations! Unfortunately, we were only there for one night as we were passing through. Definitely a place where you can and should stay longer. Beautiful outdoor facilities. The dinner was terrific and the breakfast was also very good. The accommodation is furnished with great attention to detail.

Booking.com messed up the booking, and Len and Hennie sorted us out to their expense and not ours. A big thank you to them as it added to our holiday. The facilities were beautiful, the views were spectacular and the beds were the best I slept in my entire time in south Africa. We will be back when we visit south Africa again. Thank you

Clean and comfortable

Everything!! Staff were very friendly and kind. The place was spotlessly clean and sooo quiet. The views from the cottages are stunning. Food is to die for! Stunning ostrich steaks! Breakfast was light and delicious. Lots to choose from. Swimming pool is heated and in a lovely setting! Thank you guys for an amazing stay! Wonderful fur babies who are always on their best behaviou! 🤣....We will certainly be back. Special memories....

Loved how welcome we felt, and appreciated the extra personal touch's. The food was increable and the service matched. Loved all the beautiful dogs, cats and respect for nature. Recharged and will most definitely love to come again. Many thank

The food prepared by Hennie the chef was just absolutely incredible, attention to detail and a creative twist to each meal we had. The personal services and friendliness was world class from all staff. Len has everything covered and the property has an attention to detail which is worldclass.

We hate to say anything negative because it was such a great find, the only "suggestion" would be to have softer single beds :-)
