Outside smoking area too close to room.

You get what you pay for and for the price it was comfortable. For other guests in the lodge who dont smoke however, the outside smoking area is close to the one room so the smoke does filter into the room.

I don't go on holiday to find things I don't like, I focus on all the good things especially when backpacking is the option. Just a friendly reminder, people like a vibe. This should be encouraged.

The friendly, warm welcome. Management and staff going the extra mile. Chose the place based on location and this was perfectly located amongst restaurants, shops, laundry and of course the beach. Most of all it's about the people you meet on the journey that make the memories, there were lovely people staying there at the time of my visit which added to a lovely experience. The reception lady couldn't assist me when I needed to check out early in the morning (7am) even though I had told her in advance, she told me that she is still sleeping, because of this reason I couldn't get back my deposit. The place could use more toilets and showers and an overall facelift.

It would have been better If i didn’t have yo pass other people’s room to go to my room now what is that . I couldn’t stand the snoring of the guy that was there yooo it was like he was next to me I couldn’t sleep

The was no breakfast. No room service you had to ask for a toilet paper reason for the host is travellers steal the toilet paper 😥 the money matched the place but if you want your business to expand you have to make it look pleasing to your target .

None of the toilets have locks on the doors for some reason. Also there are no power sockets in the form rooms. The form I stayed in also had two or three private rooms attached to it which meant the people in those had to walk through the dorm room to get to their rooms. This resulted in many people coming through and lots of noise. Finally whilst it isn’t a problem, this seems to be more of a place where locals stay as there were many contractors there when I passed through. So just something to be aware of as you may not meet too many other travelers.

The staff are great (particularly Ronnie) who is very accommodating and the Wi-Fi is good too.

The lights in the dorm were mostly off due to people who work at night and sleep during the day but it was dark which made it hard to be in there during the day. Some people were always loud which could be quite destructive.

It’s close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. It’s safe, has friendly and helpful staff. It’s very affordable and not a bad stay overall.

The place is very run down. My sheets smelled like urine. Bathroom doors don't lock. Shower heads missing. Didn't bother to make food in the kitchen.

1. A bathroom looked dirty. I didn’t take a shower in this hostel. 2. Another visitor ate something to eat inside her room, so I got bad smelling .And during the night, they talked a lot and watched You tube. It was complaints for me…please put some poster about it, if it is not allowed. If you choose a single room, I recommend you bring a padlock for locking your door from outside.

The cleanliness of kitchen..cockroaches not suitable to cook Bed bugs....I left with a severe rash ....beds and linen need proper laundry cleaning Only 1 shower functional.. other 1 broken shower head ...

This review has been hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

They must just shut the place down, its unhygienic, its very dirty. They must benchmark at other Backpackers how should a place be like, if you wish to attract the potential clients to stay at their accomodation.

Unfortunately there is no breakfast included, however, if it was included, I was not going to eat it because the place is very dirty, my experience was very bad, I wont recommend the place to anyone. Therefore, there was nothing impressive about the place.

I had to go though another room in order to get into my room, there was no lock on the door, I was told i need to go buy a padlock, I mean why would i do that for 1 night stay, i was also told, i need to pay for a key for the front door, this was never portrayed anywhwere or told to me before for a heads up. When i got toi the gate there was no bell, no one answered their phones, i was outside for about 30mins trying to get hold of anyone, and they new i was coming. I didnt end up staying there as i was uncomfortable.

It was not as clean as it could be. The entrance looked scary. Trash in the pot plants. It need more than a lick of paint and thicker wooden walls. The linen also needs a update. But for the price it is more than acceptable. Don't expect a three or even two star guest house It's got bunk beds and flimsy wooden walls. It's a backpackers in a great location.

The price and location made it perfect for my need. I could walk anywhere. It is surrounded by wonderful pubs and restaurants. It was also fun to connect with the other gypsy travellers.
