An oasis by the airport An excellent option for one night on arrival or departure from Joburg. Don't be alarmed by the exterior, next to the airport access, but as soon as you pass the gate you enter an area with a very nice garden. You can't see outside.

As a stop over after a flight Sunrock was an oasis of calm. The staff were friendly and so helpful and the food was amazing.

The staff were all so lovely and accommodating. The beds were super comfortable and it was quiet making for a great sleep after a long flight to Johannesburg. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast delicious. Absolutely recommend.

The surrounding location was not particularly notable, but the Sunrock Guesthouse was delightful and I felt very safe and well taken care of.

The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options. The on-site chef also prepared an amazing dinner buffet for guests at a reasonable (300 ZAR) cost. The dinner included a ribeye steak, chicken kabobs, and numerous side dishes.

Room is like a bathroom with a bed in it. Ok for a solo traveller. Bathroom light didn’t work.

Grounds are absolutely beautiful, convenient To airport. Picked me up with no issue.

The room needed a new bathroom basin, it was cracked ..the showers needed a retile And we thought the lighting was poor.

We loved the breakfast buffet, the room was a little old and a bit dark needed more lighting. But it was a very safe and pretty guest house.

There was nothing not to like.

An oasis of calm and tranquility. We stayed here for one night after an overnight flight from the UK and were amazed by the swimming pool and the gardens. It is a true gem. We each indulged in a visit to the spa which was such a treat.

10 minutes away from Johannesburg airport, a boutique style hotel with a beautiful dinning place a library a gym and a swimming pool. They serve buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner which we found exceptional.

I would have liked it to be a bit closer to the airport.

First of all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. The rooms were beautifully set-up with super comfortable beds. My kids really enjoyed their time there.
