This was a truly wonderful place with an exceptional host. While some renovations, particularly concerning the furniture, could elevate the house to an even higher standard, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were excellent. The overall experience was certainly worthwhile. Mr. Strode proved to be a fantastic host, ensuring a memorable stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it. P.S. Our visit took place during the winter season.

We liked everything, it is exceptional. It is very luxurious, spacious, close to town and has everything you needed. The fire place in the living room was sensational, the view was stunning. We will definitely visit again if in a group.

Fantastic villa with beautiful views. Lovely open plan living area and all 5 en-suite bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Lovely pool and gardens and pool table a nice touch.

Martin the host was always available when contacted. His housekeeper Vuvu was available in person and assisted when needed. She was very reliable and trustworthy. Our teenage daughter forgot her gadgets in her room and Vuvu called as immediately to inform us so we were able to turn around and get her things back. A big plus is that each of the bedrooms has their own ensuite, which makes it a great place to spend time as a big family.

There were a few little faults in the property which we commented on to the owner who said he would rectify or was in the process of rectifying. There are things which look a little tired but the owner is updating these all the time but this was reflected in the price we paid so we cannot complain.

Maybe a few small lights to soften the downstairs lighting at night would be nice and some rugs perhaps to soften the large spaces. But these are only minor points.

I think Martin, the host must just check that everything is good and ready for the guests. Gas for the geysers ran out, but he quickly put a new one in place. Electricity also ran out, which we thought was load shedding, but as soon as we alerted the host about it, he once again helped speedily. It wasn't much of a big deal though.

Everything about the house, location and amenities. The house is as in the pictures. Spacious, warm, there is just a lot to say about the house. Martin, the host, is very welcoming and always ready to help with anything. A bubbly character also. Strode house is the best, must say.
