The pictures were a bit misleading as we only had a single room with queen size bed and a shower , only DStv no Netflix or prime , moved around the corner for similar price and had an entire home with smart TV and high tech fittings and fixtures

If your neighbours in the room next door are standing outside their door and smoking was a big problem if you have asthma and you have to asked them twice to move a way and nothing happened. Parking was a problem when I stayed there and visitor's visits during the day or late at night and I can't get my car out to go to the hospital to my husband or to the shop. You have to ask them to move their cars. They were friendly and did move their vehicles. Small things to fix in rooms. Geyser is way TOO small, hot water a BIG problem in the morning and at night if place is fully booked and water used for cleaning!! I stayed there for 5 nights. I will definitely make use of them again in the future. Close to Mall of Africa and Netcare Waterfall City Hospital. It is affordable.

When we informed the host/receptionist about uncomfortable pillow her answer was not satisfactory, she just said guests don't complain about pillows which means we are a problem I believe there should have been a more appropriate response and improve on that.

It would be better if the key to the room came with a remote for the gate, because it becomes an inconvenience if I have to call everytime I want to enter the property

Booked 2 rooms One was fine . but second room has no mirror, battle to find save plug , toilet seat broken, room need upgrade, battle to open your cupboard

The shower was too small, and the water was always cold, bare in mind it was cold in Johannesburg during our stay there, and we showered with cold water. Breakfast was not included even though its one of things that were listed on the site. No daily coffee/tea refills. The rooms were not checked/cleaned daily - and there was no broom/mop in the room for us to it ourselves.

I had a great experience staying here. The receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming, even waiting for me to arrive at 21:30. Knowing that I’m sensitive to cold, she kindly lent me a hot water bottle since the room doesn’t have an air conditioner such thoughtful service! The room was very clean, and the shower had warm water even late at night (23:00) and again in the morning, which was a big plus. The rate of R550 was very fair for the quality offered. I accidentally left my phone behind in the morning while rushing to work, and the staff kept it safe until I returned in the afternoon I really appreciated that honesty and care. The guesthouse is located in a quiet suburb (Vonny Valley, Midrand) and is not far from Mall of Africa and the Waterval area, which made it very convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality at a great price.
