While I didn’t mind tidying up my room daily, it would have been helpful if basic cleaning supplies, such as a broom and mop, were provided, especially for longer stays like mine (5 nights). Additionally, there was no designated place for garbage disposal, so when the one supplied got full I had to load some rubbish into my car to dispose of elsewhere. There was also no twin plug adapter in the room (though I admit I didn’t request one, which likely would’ve been provided), so I ended up buying one the next day to charge my phone and laptop. Another minor inconvenience was the single light switch that controlled all the lights, including the bathroom. Its location, far from the bed, made it tricky to turn the lights on in the dark without fumbling around or opening a curtain first. It’s worth noting that the above inconveniences may be specific to my room. Despite these minor issues, my stay was overall enjoyable and could be enhanced with a few simple adjustments.

I truly enjoyed my stay. I appreciated the host’s relaxed approach, allowing guests their space while being readily available if needed. The location is fantastic, it is conveniently close to the Gateway Shopping Centre. My room was clean upon check-in and was equipped with all the basic appliances I needed. The bed linen was fresh, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was a lifesaver on one of the hotter days, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again in the future.

The lights were very bright with no option for a side lamp, so either bright or very dark in the room. Also the TV wasn't playing dirt channels. They had an option to connect to Netflix only if you have a preexisting account but was unable to login due to it not pairning to wifi.

The facility was clean and spacious, the host was accommodating considering i checked in a little later

1) Shortage of powder milk for coffee. 2) Bath water was cold on Saturday night.

1) The warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. It made me feel so welcome. 2) The tranquil atmosphere. 3) The proximity to Gateway Mall and Umhlanga Beach. 4) The hosts assuring me that they were just a call away in case I needed anything.

I didn't like the smell of the linen and the towels. Everything was clean but I guess I'm one for floral scents... But everything was on par. I will definitely be back again.

The owner of the place was very warm, friendly and accommodating. He assisted me with all my requests. Beautiful Venue..I stayed here all alone & Safety is a plus.

The place is not close to shops & entertainment areas. There's no parking area. The photo of the sea was misleading, thought I was closer the sea.

Communication was poor to non-existent. Received no response when asking questions vie booking.com or cellphone calls. Entry pod did not work, had to wait for garden cleaner to alert the owner that I had been standing outside for more than 10 min, trying to get ins. No toiletries as advertised. Although not advertised, courtesy/complimentary coffee/tea is sort of a standard at guesthouses. Placement of mirror in bathroom away from the tub, makes shaving and grooming akward.
