How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. I didn't like the fact that there is no refrigerator in the room and the guy who welcomed us didn't inform us where to put our stuff we heard on the following day that we could could have kept our stuff in the fridge in the lounge on the other side of the apartment, each room suppose to have its own refrigerator
The place was comfortable and clean facilities such as TV is good but it's situated far from shops and malls

The room was a bit cramped, no milk was provided for the coffee.
The breakfast was good, I would have expected a coffee machine for cappuccinos. The bathroom was really nice, the rooms are a bit small but have heaters so that makes a big difference.

Breakfast was very basic, finer details not there. Staff weren't very talkative. Rooms are very close to each other and a bit noisy.
Value for money, and location was conveniently situated. Room was clean and serviced.

The rooms are compact. Travel with a big suitcase will need some improvation.. Some of the rooms are directly located in the common living area. The Spa is a modest swimmingpool.
Staff is very friendly and service orientated.

The manager was not very welcoming. The breakfast was average. Poor quality condiments. The juice was very thick and unnatural. The room was a bit small and cramped

I would have liked to stay the entire weekend to fully enjoy the B&B and spa facilities, but my own rushed scheduling didn't allow for that.
It was a nice location in George Safe, secure, off road parking with a delicious breakfast selection.

For 1 night stay it would have been nice to have either a bit of milk or coffee creamer. With the big fridge in the lounge area, some cold water would also be great.

No accommodation on breakfast times ,for example ,we left after 6 am and couldn't eat breakfast because it was only going to be served from 7 h30 that is understandable but offer guest fruits,yoghurt or take away cereal for the road

Instruction not followed when breakfast was served,example "well done eggs was not well done and when requested was placed on the microwave and not fried on a pan ,no bacon and bacon was served, no baked beans in one of the plates and baked beans were served

Although it was only 1 night we enjoyed our stay. The evening weather was so lovely we sat outside by the pool. It was so relaxing!

The hosts are very helpful and friendly.
The area is very nice. A little bit too far from where i needed to be but its not that bad. Breakfast is a bonus.

My husband slipped when he got into the pool and almost hit his head. The pool step is incredibly slippery. We had an insane amount of ants in our room the following morning. The room was quite small.
I liked the spacious shower in the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool is also heated. Breakfast was also nice.

There were guests that made a lot of noise betwen 1am and 3am. The shower water is incorrectly marked . I discovered hot water only after I washed with ice cold water marked red

We stayed for just one night and had a good experience. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome. We didn’t get a chance to explore the entire property, but the breakfast the next morning was great. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We didn't enjoy the breakfast. It really felt like a budget breakfast. I'd suggest spending a bit of money to offer better quality meat and eggs, real butter (not margarine), real juice (not that mix-a-drink) , and get a nespresso machine so your guests can have more than just filter coffee.
The B&B was decent. The room was clean and comfortable. We had secure parking for our car. The staff were friendly.
