Everything was above expectation

Perfectly clean. Superb attention to detail. Superb quality linen, furnture fittings, utensils and crockery. Ambience and view of the best. Nothing to fault in any aspect. Our expectations were truly exceeded. Then the hosts! Wow! Anabel's warm and spontanious communication is very special. It was my wife's birthday and she even provided some gifts to make her feel special. We are so gratefull to have stayed there for a weekend. Will be back!

The property was beautifully decorated, very clean and fully equipped for all our needs (and more). The property offers privacy and a beautiful view from the balcony. We enjoyed a braai one evening in our private courtyard. The host was friendly and kind, assisting us with some wonderful recommendations. The property is located conveniently near to a variety of restaurants and wine farms. It was a tranquil getaway and I would highly recommend this beautiful spot to any couple (who doesn’t mind a few of stairs).

We visited in December so the days were very hot, but luckely they supplied for it! Can't think of anything we did not like!

We loved the quietness, the small detail left in the apartment by the owner, like fresh milk left in fridge,etc. The mosquito net and aircon was a big plus!! Anabela is a very warm and friendly host. The outside braai area was very nice. It was a very cosy stay!!

What a fantastic find! We loved that the apartment offers two inviting outdoor spaces for relaxation: a private courtyard with a spacious dining table as well as a balcony with a lovely view. The bedding was of exceptional quality, and the mosquito net was a thoughtful touch. Anabela, our host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond, leaving us Lindt chocolates and the most delicious biscotti. The accommodation is pet-friendly and even includes a cot for a baby, making it ideal for couples or small families. Its location is perfect: just a short stroll to the town center, where you can explore charming art galleries and unique shops. We can’t recommend Silky Oaks Couples Retreat highly enough!

Beautiful, peaceful setting, near the vines, with views of the mountains. Lovely outside sitting area with braai. The lounge and bedroom were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had extras like real coffee and biscotti. Our dog felt very much at home with a lovely big dog cushion provided. Anabela was very friendly and helpful. Our stay at Silky Oaks was absolutely incredible. The space is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we could have needed! The kitchen has everything from braai essentials to baking equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy loft space, and the air conditioner helped us through the sweltering afternoons! Anabela is an attentive and thoughtful host, who put so much love and care into making us and our pup feel at home. We will most certainly be back!

We had a lovely stay. The cottage really has everything you would need for self catering and is well equipped with new appliances. Bed slept very comfortable with a good air conditioner in the bed room. We were also close distance (short drive) to town to visit shops and restaurants, and a little further drive to wine farms in the area. Of course, best of all, the place is pet friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay.
