LesothoI am sure the air conditioner has already been attended to by now, it can get quite chilly in the wee hours of the night. Again, Lace curtains can surely benefit the ground floor rooms to obstruct the inside view from other guest manoeuvring the yard.
Perfect location in Umhlanga, approximate to all places of interest. I loved the elevated landscape with a functional yard having braai areas, patios with great relaxing views and a pool for those summer days. The Manager provided a feel at home atmosphere trying all she could to make it up for any shortcomings being observed/reported. Always on standby to offer assistance whenever needed.

South AfricaAccess to television apps was quite a challenge and took a while to get used to after the manager explained it. The tap in the kitchen area was loose. I would suggest a standard door to the entrance of the room instead of a sliding door that would make it feel more private. A small table with chairs to sit and eat at in the little kitchen and lounge area will be a great option next to room three and will prevent guests from eating in the room.
We did not have breakfast due to the cost. R150 for breakfast is a bit much, especially if you don't know what breakfast includes. We loved the warm welcome and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and we slept well. Shelbourne Lodge has a homely atmosphere.
