We really enjoyed our stay; it was truly a great place to break away and relax. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is very serene. It's close to neighboring towns, which makes exploring a breeze. Additionally, within walking distance you can find the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, which we highly recommend visiting. The flat itself, although attached to the larger house, feels very private with your own entrance, outdoor seating area, and braai. The decor inside is very cool, making you feel like you are really on holiday and not in some stock-standard Airbnb, as a lot of thought was put into it. The kitchen has everything you need, and there's also a small table inside to eat at in case the weather is not great for sitting outside. The TV has Netflix, and we really enjoyed that on our last night when we were tired from exploring and it started to rain. Chris is a great host and accommodated us when we needed to check in at an odd time (late) on our arrival, additionally making sure the room was heated and warm when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. Chris has great recommendations for local areas and restaurants to visit, and he will tailor his recommendations based on your specific needs. Mine was bird watching, and he was able to recommend great nearby suggestions for me. Thank you again for our stay! We will be back again for sure :)

No view... just a courtyard, but as we were only staying overnight that was OK. Had hoped for a sea view but as the weather was inclement it did not matter much. Appreciated filter coffee/rooibos tea but I don't drink either of those and unfortunately had come empty-handed. Could have gone too the shop which wasn't too far away, but with the weather being unpleasant, and travel weary we didnt. A little too small for us for a long stay, unless the weather was good, just unfortunate that it really was bad weather.

Friendly and welcoming owner, quirkiness, lovely shower, comfy bed, braai available although we couldn't use it due to pouring rain! Great communication before arrival.

Beautiful and tranquil, a few steps around the corner and you're confronted with the stunning views of Walker Bay. We loved our stay here! The accommodation was very comfortable with flares of artistry dotted around, making it a unique stay. Chris was a superb host, friendly and caring and passionate about his home. Just fabulous

This is one of the most well decorated place I've ever been to. Chris and Jackie were so welcoming and warm. I felt like I'm sleeping in Van gogh painting, evrey thins was so tasteful! Really close to the beach. 100% reccomand.

The following points are rather useful hints than negatives: The apartment has a small kitchenette which is fine for making breakfast and simple meals. The windows are facing a wall (but it's just 3 minutes to the seaside). The bathroom has a curtain as door. We were perfectly fine with that, as it was still the right spot to be at (see description as "positive"). Therefore still 10 points for us!

Lovely and beautiful small apartment, just a 3 min walk to the seaside! Chris and Jackie were the perfect hosts with a big heart for travellers. Thank you for helping us out with your washing machine! The apartment is not "the typical cold-standard" but so unique, beautiful, comfortable and with a warm personal note to it. Even in winter (August) it was well warm enough in the apartment thanks to a mobile heater and heating blankets. Beautiful surrounding nature: Klipgat Caves and Walker Bay Nature Reserve are in walking distance, whale watching from the shore line of De Kelders and Gansbaai, ... Neat restaurants and cafés near by - just follow Chris' recommondations and cooking will not be necessary.

The friendly way that we were welcomed were excellent. The apartment were beautifully decorated and nice fresh coffee and rusks awaited us. The bathroom had a lovely big shower with warm water. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend.

Our room was large and clean. The bed linen was spotless. Everything was so spotless. The kitchen and windows were spotless, and the b&b is only a 5-minute walk from the beach. Everything was incredible.

The bathroom didn't have a door. It did have a curtain but this was held in place simply with safety pins. A sliding door would be ideal..
