Exceeded expectations. Location is perfect for overnight on N1. If you like birds,bring binos, lots of feathered friends in the grounds

Other guests were noisy, but management took it seriously and sorted it out the next morning.

The great location, with easy access to the highway, the spacious surroundings, and game makes Sangiro Game Lodge our first choice to stay with our two toddlers in Bloemfontein. They love seeing the crocodile, giraffes and peacocks.

The mattress was hollowed out on one side Don't think there was a bottle of cold water in the fridge - a small milk for coffee would also be nice

For the price you're paying, not much to complain about. Breakfasts could have been cheaper if they offered different options (E.G. Instead of R120 flat rate - include a very basic "eggs & toast" with the cost of the room, then R60 for a Bacon, Eggs, Toast & Jam; R80 for Bacon, Eggs, Banger, Beans, toast & jam; R120 for Full brekky + juice & Cereals etc etc etc

Location close to N1 for ease of access, but not too near that the road noise was overpowering; Rooms were quiet enough, couldn't hear neighbouring rooms TV etc; Well appointed kitchen with basic items ideal for self-catered takeaway meals. Parking right outside your unit. Takeaway outlets at nearby national road petrol port, or sit down eating at nearby mall.

I was worried about the main gate seemed it was open at night too. Nothing happened but it made me uneasy

The place was clean and easily accessible from N1. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.The room had all the necessities that we required. I would definitely do it again

- We only got four sachets of coffee but we where there for 3 nights, meaning no coffee on the last day. - Had a bit of water issues the fist day as there was only boiling hot water and no cold water in shower and taps, this was fixed

- Nice, clean room with a lovey surrounding - Lovely waking up seeing wild life while lying in bed - Comfortable bed and pillows - Will definitely visit again, thank you!

Thank you for changing the bathroom door. So much more space. We stayed in Batchelor no5. The bed was very comfortable. Fabulous stay and very convenient stopover.

We didn't stay long enough to explore... so didn't find anything to dislike!

Proximity to N1. Accommodation, which was a 2 bedroom cabin, had everything we needed for an overnight stay, eg kitchen had toaster, washing up liquid, dish towels, etc. The aircon with heating worked in all the rooms. Rooms were small, but beds were comfortable.

They need to have electric blankets especially when we were having a challenge with our air conditioner which wasn't functioning well and also.. I think they should introduce simple game drives because I didn't see even a single animal.

The place is quiet and wonderful for the couple that wants time out and relaxation.

Unit faced the highway and with strong wind blowing from that side lots of traffic noise and also uncomfortable to use braai area under those conditions. Expected some wild animals but only saw a couple of sheep. Some maintenance required on outside furniture and bathroom door

Rural setting close to highway. Rustic and very clean. Very friendly staff and have a breakfast room should you wish to use, serving full English breakfast at affordable price. Can park car right in front of unit door, great for long distance traveling
