Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is a great choice for breakfast and freshly brewed coffee, served by the swimming pool. Led by Anita, everyone at Sandton Country Manor works tremendously hard to look after the guests and there is a very happy atmosphere at the house. I can't recommend it strongly enough

A beautiful little safe haven with super friendly staff. My room was actually an apartment with all the amenities and super clean. Breakfast was great, and they served French press coffee which is always a little treat instead of those dispensing machine coffees. A nice touch.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was provided exactly as I had asked for. Excellent value for money. The entire place was beautifully kept. A very peaceful atmosphere, and a very safe area.

United Statesour group rented the whole manor. two rooms were upper floor with thatched roof--one room complained that ants fell from the thatch throughout the night. the other room said nothing. most of the other rooms were quite comfortable, except one had a/c problems--they provided a fan, but with no screens on the windows, the fan circluated warm air, or brought in cooler air from outside with the prospect of flying insects. The same room (the smallest on site) also heard the guests upstairs easily (even though they were not particularly loud).
our group rented the whole manor--there are a few areas convenient for group gatherings (socialize, play games, etc) including the pool area outside, rooms were super clean, grounds were well kept and beautiful. Anitah, the hostes, was extremely responsive and accommodating and welcoming. bathrooms were roomy and clean and functional. location is in safe neighborhood, convenient to restaurants, shops, etc. Comfortable beds and higher end linens and towels.

United KingdomTo be honest - and I have never said this about a hotel before - there was nothing that needed improving — the building is great, well situated and maintained. You’ve got a swimming pool and delightful garden where you can read or hold business meetings.
Anita and her team give guests the warmest of welcomes. They make you feel at home and ensure that you have everything you need, especially a great breakfast to start the day and bring you coffee if you have people over for a business meeting.
