The hotel is not on a very big reserve but we saw some stunning wildlife up close, like Kudu, Zebra, Giraffe and Warthog, and it does make it safe to get out your car and walk or mountain bike around the reserve.

Excellent little hotel with amazing size rooms, really comfy beds, attentive staff, and fabulous breakfast. They ran out of oat milk for coffee and instead of apologising (like most hotels would do) they sent someone to the shops to buy some for us. The service is truly amazing. Ask for the Leopard room if you want to share the same throne as someone famous. Big thanks to Rowan & Shelly who looked after our every need.

The staff is unreliable. I asked for a wake-up call twice at 4:30am, and they assured they would call, however, they didn’t. I was able to make it on time despite severe jet lag. So, if you are in a similar situation, please don’t count on them. Additionally, I prepaid a light lunch weeks ahead of my trip. They charged my card twice and then forgot to provide lunch on the day of the safari. Please note that wait time is quite long if you end up needing to buy lunch at the Kruger Park. Absolutely unnecessary inconvenience considering I planned ahead of time and the hotel staff failed to provide.

Beautiful setting in the bush but the main bonus is the exceptional food. The chefs are passionate about the food and I would say it is better than most top restaurants in Johannesburg. I was blown away!

Everything – the lodge is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was incredible (especially the traditional South African braai on our last night), and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning! We were disappointed to not have a working aircon upon arrival. We especially booked the room with pool. Anthony moved us to another massive unit for the first night and had the repair team out the next morning to fix aircon and promptly moved our luggage back to the original room. He handled the situation brilliantly. The food however is very expensive as it is a full 3 or 4 course meal and sometimes a choice of only one meal would be better. The breakfasts were included and very good.

It was everything absolutely perfect!

The lodge is just amazing! The room is very comfortable and well decorated with attention at any detail. The staff is memorable, they prepared a dinner for the day we arrived served in the room, even though it was very late. I had a very special birthday, with a table setting with balloons and a kind card in addition to a cake served after the dinner. The food is outstanding, the chef deserves a 3 stars Michelin! The staff arranged all the Game Drivers, Kruger Day and Nature Drive (with a bottle of sparkling wine :) ) to us when we could learn a lot about wildlife. Having many animals in our backyards were speechless. To wait for our flight, they prepared a package with some snacks and water for us, so kind... I would like to thank so much for all the staff, specially Crystal, Melinda, Luis (the Chef), Rowen, John (who is not John :D), Jackie and Saskia. Team, YOU ROCK! I will certainly be back!

Beautiful Lodge with large and airy rooms with cool decor, excellent breakfast and wonderful dinner with friends including sundowner at the excellent bar. Staff very friendly, helpful and approachable. Did not get to use the pool as it got a bit chilly, but great spot to relax.Highly recommended

The ambiance was amazing. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were okay. From the staff at reception, the staff in the restaurant area including the chefs were amazing. Always smiling and friendly. The resort itself is amazing. The attention to detail is magnificent. I would definately love to return to this resort
