The bed we slept on was not so comfortable.

The place is beautiful from the entrance. The owner made us feel welcomed and at home. The surroundings were a cherry on top, especially the waterfall we got to enjoy for free for a change in Mpumalanga where you pay for almost everything. It's so peaceful and refreshing 😌 It's one of those places you can visit a 100 times but never get tired of. We loved it 😍✨️👌

Wonderful property, huge chalet that is well equipped with everything you need and beautiful location along a river offering walks. Nicely set up pool (didn’t use as winter) but would be great in summer. Logan was very friendly and helpful offering many recommendations for local sights and meal options. Highly recommend.

Very nice cottages in a beautiful area. The river and garden are really nice and very well maintained. Also there is a short walk to a spectacular waterfall and a walk around the river where you’ll see a lot of birds. What’s also nice is the outside fireplace, very cosy. The hosts were very nice and the breakfast really good 👍. The town itself, Sabie, is nice and a good spot to explore the surroundings.

The room was freezing and the small heating provided was not enough for the big house. It could be good to add more heating, especially for the bathroom.

Surrounded by the beautiful nature, the cottage is spacious and curated. The staff is very nice and shared spaces outside are beautiful. The best breakfast ever!

The room could’ve been warmer, although admittedly, it was the middle of winter when I stayed and would not be an issue during the other seasons of the year.

The setting is just beautiful and the staff very helpful and professional. The room was spacious and well equipped. The view of the stream from the room is extraordinary. Walking outside with a cup of coffee in the morning to listen to the stream amidst the hills and trees is a special experience.

Shawne the host is super friendly, very warm, so professional. The host speaks with you like someone you have met before. Wow!!! Logan with his wonderful, super friendly personality.His team at the dining room serve their buffet breakfast which was delicious with freshly baked artisan bread , flapjacks, muffins and banana bread. The host and Logan were informative about places to visit around. The river and the waterfall was cherry on top. The place is very peaceful and quiet. For nature lovers book Sabie Star and you will not regret. I will recommend it to family and friends. House keeping: thumbs up for Mzwandile.
