- Amazing view, we even saw a couple of whales in the bay while we were there! - The food is outstanding with a really nice breakfast and amazing dinner experience! - Really nice staff and amazing service - The staff was really helpful in booking our daily activities like horse riding and whale watching tours.

Unfortunately it was very windy but that is not normally the case. you can't control the weather.

The house is just like the pictures and better. The view is amazing even from the shower. The food was 5 star quality. Their wine collection is impressive. the staff are excellent. It is definitely worth staying there.

Everything was incredible about this property from the minute we stepped into the main door I was swept away and in awe. The official pictures don’t do it justice and we were so pleasantly surprised by the beauty. It was the best place we’ve stayed so far in our SA trip, and even after coming from some places that we would have thought to be hard to beat. The view is jaw dropping, it’s so peaceful, and all of the staff especially the owner is so generous and kind!!! Truly amazing and feel so lucky to have come across this wonder! Wish we could have stayed longer. Best sunsets too. We had the private guest cottage which gave really nice privacy, spotlessly clean, nice amenities and super comfortable. Just book it, you will have no regrets. If it could be 11/10 it would be

Roxanne, chef and staff were incredible! The views was beautiful and was so lovely to walk and run to the beach. Food was the best food we have had in SA. Partners birthday and cake and balloons were there on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble!

Very little to dislike.

This a relatively small hotel but beautifully appointed. The property is in a very good location, in a gated development and a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. The bedroom was very comfortable. The restaurant provided an excellent range of wonderfully cooked food, so we ate in both nights. The staff were exceptional. I can’t remember ever meeting (in a hotel) such a friendly and happy group.

We loved everything about Romans Villa from the very warm welcome on arrival to the beautiful spacious room and huge bathroom and our stunning view over the ocean. As a small boutique hotel, it had a nice intimate feel. Dinner was excellent (professionally and creatively prepared and delicious). Breakfast likewise. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff with special mentions to Roxann, Chrissy and Joseph, and the owner Ernst was also extremely helpful - even recommending a great lunch restaurant Idiom for our journey back to Cape Town. Everyone made us feel special and really made our stay. We loved the beautiful beach, an easy walk down the dune below the hotel. Zebras wandering around outside were an added bonus!

The towels in the bathroom is old and need to be replaced and more towels can be provided.

The view was spectacular of the ocean. The welcoming drink served by Farren upon arrival and her friendliness. Our room was beautiful with lovely view and privacy. The dinner and breakfast was great. Compliment to Roxanne and Farren by their excellent service, friendliness and helpfulness
