Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This particular accommodation exceeded my expectation. The room were spacious. The apartment had everything you could ever need. Very modern and very clean. The bed was so comfortable. I cannot fault it. Sheldon was the perfect gentleman helping us with everything. Excellent communication from the host. Would highly recommend

The shower was a bit challenging. Literally burning hot or ice cold. Attention to the hot/cold mixer is needed. The fabric curtain on the sides of the shower not ideal.
The view over the Krugersdorp Reserve was amazing. The spaciousness of the unit is fantastic The spa bath very relaxing Safety and security were very good Undercover parking a bonus The hostess very friendly.

It would even be better if the neighbouring Krugersdorp gamereserve would open back up. However, this seems beyond the control of the owner of this B&B.
Just a lovely lodge area with nice seatings and other spots around the area and with a spectacular view. The cottage (a family cottage) was also very nicely decorated and homely. Also the sounds of the lions roaring at night was something to behold.

The place is absolutely beautiful. Chantel is such a happy soul, very helpful, the staff service breakfast were also great. Breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

The kitchenette is sparsely equipped.

Amazing room set out across one room, with a full size bath with jacuzzi flow. Great bed with nets that worked well and a bonus of listening to the lions roaring from the adjacent park

Bath and shower not enclosed open plan in charlet . No door at toilet. Gas heater did not heat the shower and the bath. The airfryer cort to short to plug in No place to hang clothes. Expensive for what you get It was still nice to stay there

How peaceful it is, waking up in the morning watching the sunrise. How well planned the lodge is with all the areas you can sit and relax at. We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Having a braai next to the swimming pool with a view of the nature reserve full of wild game. I will definitely recommend. We had an amazing romantic getaway.

Very neat, clean and well-equipped units. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and everything you might need for self- catering is provided for in the kitchenette. Game parks, cultural centres, restaurants and shopping all within easy driving distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing not to love
45km from our house, it was amazing. It is worthwhile and exceptional, clean, and friendly people... thank you. We even met Fourie, who loved playing with his ball and enjoyed the kids
