No wi-fi, no-one reception initially. After cleaning the gutters, our porch wasn't dried/mopped so we had to walk through water to get into the room.

Did not find the staff the friendliest. Beds were hard as rock that we did not sleep properly. Shower head was clogged with years of rust and muck build up, so water barely came out of it.

Location was great, clean, with a decent setup and size of the room. Restaurant has a nice deck for relaxing on and pool for the kids to swimming in.

Firstly booked into room with no shower, only bath. then moved to another room. Shower not working. Took one day to fix. Bed very short so feet were hanging over the edge (I am only 1.86m) and very hard.

The choice of meals. The dinner choices are very average, typical pub food. The meal I ordered was fine, but most things on the menu were rather boring.

The breakfast was very average. A warm plate would have been nice. Nearly every egg dish included chips, which I don't eat, especially not for breakfast, so ordered scrambled eggs with bacon. The bacon was nice, and the eggs were fine, except they were served onto cold soggy toast. I would have preferred the toast to be separate, and not soggy.

The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable! There was no way we could cook any small dish, or make a breakfast!

The room was very well laid out and has almost everything you need. The rest was top notch! Good food. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room and facilities was a bit dated. I also did not have the option to select bath or shower and I do prefer to shower.

The view was amazing, the location very good and friendliness of the staff I really appreciated. The food was very good and well prepared.

The restrictions imposed on evening meal times. I understand the need for this in view of the very small number of residents but it did impinge on the freedom and enjoyment of those few.

They put us in a different room that we didn't book because the original room we had booked was not in order. The aircon and television was faulty. And without informing us when we arrived they moved us. The other unit was ok. Would have been nice if they had told us beforehand and not when I questioned them about the booking.

The staff was very friendly The pool was clean and a nice size. Lovely views too. Rooms also very clean.

BOOKING.COM CANCELLED MY BOOKING WHEN THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD CONTACT THE PROPERTY DIRECTLY WHAT IF HOTEL WAS FULLY BOOKED WHEN I GOT THERE? . BUILDING IS OLD NEEDS A PAINT INSIDE FLATS, DAMP ON WALLS, LIGHTS NOT WORKING. SERVICE IS SLOW AT BAR.

unfortunately the communal areas within the hotel were grubby. although the apartment had just been cleaned the hallway bathroom had a bad smell which filled the entire apartment despite keeping the door closed. unfortunately the password to the wifi didn't work and because we were just spending 1 night it was not a big deal, but they will need to look into that should occupants spend longer there.

the apartment was nice and spacious. Since i was travelling with my Mother it was great that we each had a bathroom. And the kitchen meant we had the freedom to cater for our own needs. The staff were all welcoming and friendly.
