Had a overnight stay and a meal. Although my steak was overcooked the veggies was Devine and the chef was super accommodating and apologetic. Very kind.

When we arrived, I wanted a margarita - they did not have simple syrup to accommodate my request and never let me know that it had arrived. I wanted garlic snails for a dinner starter and that too was out of stock. Service was a little slow to the room - we waited an hour for room service one night. In general, service was slower than most but the staff was super friendly.

The room was lovely and went beyond what I expected - the bed impressive and comfortable and the room very spacious. The bathroom is well appointed and the bath and shower big and comfy enough for 2. The fridge in the room helps for drinks etc. The restaurant is huge and the fireplace warmed it well. The food was good, specifically the chicken livers, espetada, lamb curry and steak. Breakfast was plentiful and the scrambled eggs delish!

The restaurant Smiles was disappointing. We ordered 4 breakfasts and it took over an hour to come only to find they brought 2 wrong breakfasts and did not care to advise that there were no lamb and chicken sausages they just substituted on their own with Viennas. So we just paid for 1 breakfast and coffees and left.

Need some maintenance, but the rooms were absolutely acceptable

Rooms were painted a dark yellow which made them very dark.

Check in could have been smoother... they struggled to find our booking. Otherwise all good.

Comfortable and spacious room. Unfortunately, we couldn't open the patio door as it was jammed/stuck and therefore couldn't enjoy our morning coffee on the balcony.

Staff at restaurant rushed me to order on the Friday stating it's going to get busy...it wasn't...we spent 1300 on supper that night mind you. The front desk doesn't know the room menu well,i had to order our meals from staff directly. On the day of leaving a rude staff member just takes our plates while my partner and I were in conversation. Train your staff better!
