We loved the fact that our cottage/pod was far away from the other buildings, and we could enjoy the peaceful and serene surroundings day and night. It was our first trip with our 7-month old puppy who had a blast, exploring the olive groves during the day and enjoying the fireplace on a cold winter night. We absolutely loved the fact that we were treated with options of a fireplace, the hot tub and/or the firepit.

Fabulous cottage on the river. Beautifully stocked and decorated with everything you need, even games and puzzles. We absolutely loved it. The olive mill tour was amazing and Alison was a wonderful host.

We stayed in the River Cottage and Stone Cottage close to the river. Everything is well appointed and the wood stove kept is very cosy in the winter nights. Beautiful location away from the hustle.

Lovely view of the river from our cottage. The weather was cold but the indoor fireplace was very effective at warming up the main area and there were hot blankets and heaters in the bedrooms. The owner , Allison was very helpful and readily available for any queries . We are hoping to return to try out the mountain eco cabins .

Location was excellent with great view, quiet and private. 2 bed cabin was very comfortable, had everything one needed. The hot tub worked well.

We could hear some music and conversations from the cottage next to us. Just something to keep in mind if you’re expecting absolute peace and quiet.

Great location for a getaway with a river view, and easy to find thanks to the clear signage along the dirt road. The host was absolutely lovely and welcoming! The cottage was very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The indoor fireplace was definitely our favorite feature. We also liked the honesty shop on the property with delicious olives.

Stunning location with well equipped cottages. River Bend farm is perfect for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed the kayaking on the river and the tour of the olive factory. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely nothing—there’s everything to love about this place! You’ll fall in love with it just like I did.

This was my second visit, and once again, the accommodation exceeded expectations. Clean, well-equipped, and hosted by friendly staff, it’s a fantastic spot for both fishing and birdwatching. The olive tour was a lovely experience, and the breathtaking views make it truly special. It has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Everything. Unfortunately we only had the fun of staying for 1 night so we didn’t use the hot tub or boma… but the rest was really authentic and breathtaking. Would love to visit again for a longer stay in the future.

Nothing! I love everything about this place.

Absolutely everything about this place was phenomenal! They are well equipped with cutlery, crockery and utensils. This place was clean and there were extra blankets when needed. I enjoyed fishing from early in the morning until late at night. There are loads of birds on the property including the Pied, Giant and Malachite Kingfisher. I loved that I could purchased a few olive items that she sells on the farm. I can't wait to visit the farm again and do a factory tour. Allison was an exceptional host and always around. Thank you once again for your hospitality!

Everything about the Riverbend experience was exceptional. The tasteful attention to detail of the hosts, the thoughtful provision of essentials like fresh eggs, milk and ice, the personal welcome and orientation to the cottage and the environment, made this one of the best get aways we've had.
