when we check in the room was not clean even the bin was full of rubbish, no iron in the room you have to share one iron the whole rooms. They don't check customers to remind them if they are still coming as we booked a month before. No customer care.

i like the assistance i got when we check out, they assisted by requesting a bolt fast as we were running to ketch a bus to Mpumalanga 6am and the bolt came fast.

The shower was awful, hardly any water came out and the temperature was impossible to regulate. Bed is really hard and uncomfortable.

My initial room had a very strong fragrance from the carpet cleaner and this flared my allergies, the host moved me to a different room immediately. They also switched on the electric blanket in my room while I was out. That was lovely.

The bed made squeaking sounds when turning over, and the air-conditioner dripped water inside the room. It was fairly difficult to lock the room from the inside. One tends to feel unsafe because the bathroom windows have no burglar bars. A safety gate in front of the main door of the room would also enhance the feeling of safety. Parking doesn't allow for turning your vehicle around inside the yard if not empty; some drivers struggle to reverse properly.

Fairly easy to locate. Each guest receives a remote key fob for the gate where they would like to enter.

The rooms were too dark during the day. The rooms were not allowing in the natural light without compromising privacy. There were no lace curtains through the main door which could act as a natural source of light.

The place was safe for morning and afternoon walk, quite for studying and very close to my destination area.

The water was cold when we had to shower in the morning. They seemed disorganized and not knowledgeable on the workings of the guesthouse or as to why there was no hot water. We had to take cold showers in this cold weather. The parking was inconvenient. The staff was reluctant and not pro active in serving us or assisting us in that particular case of inconvenience. We were not happy with how the situation was handled at all and in the end nothing was done but a simple "sorry" I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone let alone me paying another visit. 2/10 👎🏾

Water pressure in the shower is close to zero. Can’t bath properly. There is too much noise in the morning. If you want a retreat, this place is not it. 5am you are woken up by people making noise outside. It doesn’t seem like the owner/ workers care since they didn’t intervene.

Shower head did not work correctly and water took very long to warm up.The water pressure was also extreamly low.Side bed table lamp wasn't plugged in.No plug points next to the bed to charge your phone etc.Staff where very friendly and accommodating.

The place is noisy. Did not get any sleep because people are allowed to have drinking sessions in the lounge, others walk around, bang doors and have loud conversations 2h, 3h, 4h at night. No consideration for other guests and no rules to rein them in. Jaques.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be coming again. The staff was very professional and the rooms were very clean. The guesthouse is easy to locate and it is close to a quite a number of ammenities.

Both our rooms had no toilets seats, we asked about it, the receptionist had no idea about them. We were told they were fully booked and i asked to speak to the manager or owner. I have a little child and needed to have a toilet seat. It's not like one room was broken and they didnt know about it. It was both rooms. The owner was so rude to me on the phone and didnt care because he was on holiday overseas. I do not recommend this place to anyone and dont know why booking.com has them on theìr list. The air conditioner stopped working in my room and it was so cold. It was a horrible experience. Dont recommended them at all. Receptionist was sweet but couldn't do much.
