Except for TV that we couldn't operate to tune to SABC, maybe a little guide to TV operations, although it wasn't a big deal. Everything was perfect

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house in Durban. The staff were outstanding – professional, committed, and at the same time very warm and homely. We were in Durban under difficult circumstances, visiting our sister in hospital, but the staff showed us such empathy and comfort that it truly made a difference. Everything about our stay was excellent, and I would give them a full 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Towels could be a bit bigger but not a hassle and there should be an alternative to the duvet. We did find it too hot.

Loved the location as it is very close to Capital Hospital where my partner was for a couple of ops. Also the view and garden was lovely.

They offer a very good breakfast. They are friendly and accommodating. The view from the room (apparently the only room with that view! lucky me) was amazing. I will definitely visit again.

The Netflix wasn't working on the TV in my room but it wasn't too bad of an issue since the WiFi was still available.

The beds were softer than my preference but that is obviously very subjective! We had to pay a late check-in fee to arrive after 8pm but given that the accommodation was otherwise very reasonably priced, this was not a disaster.

The breakfast was delicious with very generous portions. The accommodation was very pleasant and clean with good water pressure in the shower. The pool was lovely - a good size and nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wow im still in shock of the exeptional treatment we got wow the service is todie for. The breaskfast omg it was theee best iv had it was amazing and we ate until we wer satisfied according to our preference. The view also mmhh everything was top class thank you💗

The owner of the place and her staff are so friendly, they make you feel at home. The place is very clean, beds comfortable, and the breakfast there is devine. It is home away from home. I would recommend Ridgeview Lodge to all who want to be home away from home.
