Gorgeous room - stayed in largest one they had with free standing bath looking across the bay it was amazing. Lovely hosts - told us route up to view the sunset. Walk on longer side to centre but still only 20-30mins, the drive is very easy. Clean room and delivered breakfast to room which was delicious. Check in very easy and got in early.

I loved everything about the property. The neighborhood was conveniently located, walking distance to the downtown core, and felt very safe. The room was very well decorated and organized, and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed, and breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We loved the breakfast! Every morning a different breakfast with much attention to detail. The hosts Linda and Martin went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Ridge House is an excellent base for hikes in the Fernkloof nature reserve, the Cliff path and day trips to Hemel en Aarde Vallei, Walker Bay and Klifgat Caves. They also gave us tips for quirky little restaurants and the not to be missed country market is in walking distance.

The hosts and the staff are super nice. They are very helpful and have many tips on what to do, where to go etc. The apartment is unbelievably beautiful and created with so many details. The view over Hermanus, the bay and the ocean is amazing. You find everything you need. We loved the prepared fire place (as it was still quite cold) and I was a huge fan of the heating blanket in the bed. The breakfast is delicious and a perfect start for the day.

Loved the wood fired jacuzzi overlooking Hermanus! It was also perfectly placed to explore Hermanus and enjoy wale spotting along the coast. Martyn and Linda were lovely hosts and we really enjoyed our stay.
