Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

It is a lodge with a few tented rooms and they are spaced apart really well. It’s like no one is there. The accommodation looks over the river and you always get animals close by. The accommodation is amazing inside and is very spacious. There is an even a pool at the front. The staff are exceptional and are always there if you need anything. We are Vegan and the chefs served us amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everyday it was different with a couple of choices for lunch and dinner. These are the best vegan meals we have ever had and there was too much food. If anyone is vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc let the lodge know in advance and they will put on a feast for you. We had some great rides in a jeep with Bryan our safari ranger. He was so knowledgeable and we saw so many animals. He was excellent!

Game drives were the highlight of our stay with our extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, Josh. We saw an enormous variety of wildlife over many different habitats on the reserve. It was breathtaking! We experienced far more variety than we could have imagined and learned so much from Josh. The lodge itself and our secluded tent were wonderful and all the staff who fed and looked after us were magnificent. They could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The food was awesome throughout our stay.

I've stayed in any hotels, but Rhino Sands is truly unique. The staff are exceptional; nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent. The ranger and drives were amazing. Over the last 3 day days we seen and been close to in the wild to lions, cheethas, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, elephants, the list goes on. In somes, just metres away. Great experience. The rooms are luxury tents, you feel right in the bush

The tent we stayed in was amazing, very comfortable and open, especially liked the outdoor shower..Josh, Game Driver was especially informative and fun, we felt safe at all times with him. The kitchen staff were super polite and friendly and served us very well. Thank you to the chef, who kept us delightfully fed as well. Thank you Spha & Nick for being available at all times and for the amazing hospitality! Thank you all at Rhino Sands, we had a lovely stay!!
