We had a wonderful stay enjoying your serene piece of paradise. The views from our cottage were magnificent, the facilities included a welcome hot tub, swimming pool, braai & dining area with snooker table, all open to the surrounding hills of fynbos. Ben was a great host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed the walk he suggested down to the Sout river for a morning swim. Highly recommended if you’re wanting somewhere peaceful, surrounded by rolling hills of fynbos, with just the sounds birdcalls & the river in the valley below, but close enough for a drive to the beach at Natures Valley

The chalet's is basically glamping. It did not work for a family of 3. The space was not enough. We upgrade to the 2 bedroom house and had a much better stay. More space and could braai at our own home and had a kitchen with fridge. Much needed for a longer stay.

Beautiful view, quite and you could hear the roar of the lions at night.

The freezer on site was a little dirty, with a rather poor smell. But that's my only complaint.

The location is awesome. We felt safe and the views were absolutely amazing. I'd highly recommend this to any person travelling in the area for a weekend getaway.

This has to be a 'hidden' treasure in South Africa. It is here where 'your soul can breathe', your mind can rest and 2 days here were too short. The warm welcome by our host and his 'fur babies' set the tone for our visit. And NOTHING was too much trouble. The views are breathtaking, nature is in abundance and this also extends to the tasteful decor and layout of the houses on the property, to accentuate the beauty of your surroundings. This lodge is also close to major 'tourist attractions' which made day trips fun, close and memorable. We left a piece of our hearts here, and many more visits are planned.

The best location, the doggos are a bonus! Beautiful, serene and it has everything you need. The pictures dont do it justice! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Our host met us at the car and greeted us with a smile and a very friendly demeanor. He took us around the main gathering area and promptly explained all we needed to know. Cabins was neat and clean.

The deck area & window frames felt in need of a bit of maintenance, although we realize that these are big jobs to tackle, so this is just a heads up.

We had a very warm welcome and the best care from Benn, which started before we even arrived at Rainforest Ridge. Such a wonderfully relaxing place with an amazing view! One night was far too short!

We had 7 wonderful hosts on our trip through SAF but Benns Paradise was the best BY FAR. Breakfast was great, house/ rooms were great, Pool & Lodge were just a dream and also Benn himself made the stay really special. The Rainforest Ridge Eco Resort may be not the right place for "5-stars- all-inclusive"-people but an absolute recommendation for everyone seeking for something real!

The accommodation is very rustic as you might expect from a eco resort. The facilities are a little run down but Benn is working hard to improve the place.
