I am deeply disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I initially booked two rooms via Booking.com, as it gave me the option for a family of two adults and two children. Immediately after booking, I called the hotel directly to request that the rooms be adjacent. I was told that while the rooms were close, there would be one room separating them. Given that this was not ideal for my family, I asked if we could instead be moved to a family room to keep both of my children with us in one space. The receptionist informed me that she would need to consult with her manager. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from the duty manager who assured me that my request would be accommodated and that I didn’t need to worry — everything was sorted. To my surprise, I then received a conflicting message from another duty manager via the Booking.com portal, confirming that our two rooms will be next to each other. I chose to disregard this message, trusting the verbal confirmation I received over the phone that our booking had been changed to a family room as requested. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was shocked to find that absolutely nothing had been done. We were still booked into the two original, separated rooms. The hotel was fully booked and unable to accommodate the family room arrangement they had clearly promised and confirmed. This level of miscommunication and failure to deliver on a confirmed arrangement is unacceptable. I planned carefully and communicated clearly in advance, yet was let down at the very last moment — with children in tow and no practical solution offered. I expected far better, both in service and accountability. This experience has left me completely disillusioned with both the hotel’s management and their commitment to guest satisfaction.

The room was spacious. Secure parking. Friendly staff. Food was delicious at the restaurant.

Just our supper the first night did not agree with our stomachs. We had the 300 ribs and chips, as well as the burger and chips meals.

Everything was to our satisfaction, accommodating staff, location near to shop and restaurants. Very relaxing and laid back and enjoyable facility.

I got bitten by a bed bite ,still recovering 🥲 the location there isn't much to do .I miss the tennis court and the halal section when we stayed last time (protea hotel) .I miss the game room as well .

The meals on the menu were mostly unavailable. Breakfast was really bad quality. Not nice tasting. Not worth the money.

No good tv reception. Pillows were too soft and flat. Bath is dangerous to climb into to shower. Basin taps need some fixing. It keeps sqeaking when you open or close them. No breakfast included

I requested for the iron and ironing board, but the iron was not working. There was communication breakdown between myself and the house keepers as they were only Afrikaans speaking, which I do not understand. The night receptionist refused to put the lights on for us to go out through the back exit as we left around 2 am. It was not easy to find our way out due to decreased visibility

The day shift receptionist was very welcoming and patient with us. She gave us full orientation with clear guidance and made us feel at home. The room was very neat and cozy. I loved the spacious bathroom, and they provided enough towels
