We would have stayed forever but stairs were difficult for us to manage due to problems of advanced age. We felt totally safe and well cared for.

Just lovely. Out of Africa feel. Lovely place on hillside with gorgeous patio for watching amazing sunsets.

Nothing! Lived it all!

Amazing accommodation in the beautiful Bantry Bay. The room was massive with a huge bedroom and chairs looking out onto the decking with ocean views. Then there was also a very large couch space and large bathroom. The location was amazing. Felt very safe and could easily access Seapoint or Camps Bay. Plus when we arrived there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us! Just a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend this stay and hope to return!

Nothing, everything was tip-top.

We had a wonderful 10-day stay in this luxurious en-suite room. Everything was exactly as promised – spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The sea view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially the sunsets. We felt truly spoiled by the thoughtful daily treats, and the hidden kitchenette was a brilliant touch. A special thanks to Rita and the staff for looking after us so well – their care made our stay extra special. Highly recommended!

It was all perfect

The host, and Lou Lou who looked after us every day. The views were spectacular and the bed huge and comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay.

Wonderful views and lovely decor / facilities. Excellent welcome. There is an essential lift on the premises which (especially for luggage) is a prerequisite given location. A couple of times the lift wasn’t working which was unfortunate but soon fixed.

The bed is very comfortable but on the short side for my tall boyfriend.

Well thought out space, making the most of the seaview. The breakfast options and snacks in a self service, in room set up really works and were really tasty. Spacious, clean & well taken care of. Kind, friendly, attentive host, nothing was too much for her.

This is not a room or a studio it is something far more expansive and sumptuous. The views are exceptional: the sea the sunsets - incomparable. The host was really lovely too and I arrived hours earlier than check in and was allowed to.. well check in! Short walk into town (Try Jarryds I still dream about that place) or to the sea.

Villa del Mar was just the perfect place for us to start our holiday. Beautifully laid out and so stylishly furnished. We were so comfortable. The views! Wow! We so enjoyed the sunsets too. A completely delightful stay.

Beautiful and pristine property overlooking the gorgeous Bantry Bay and within very close proximity to Clifton (15-20 min walk) and Camps Bay (30 min walk) beaches. Ideally located near to Green Point, the V&A waterfront, City and airport - all of which are just a short taxi ride away.

The property was stunning. The owner has it decorated to high standards and you feel you’re living like a millionaire for your stay. The views are as spectacular as the photos show. The cleaner was lovely. There’s a small breakfast in your room daily. You can park your car in a secure garage so no worries there. The beach is 5-10 mins walk. We’d recommend it to anyone staying in Cape Town

There was not one thing I did not like!

The breakfast was delicious and replenished each day. It was lovely to eat on the balcony over looking a beautiful expanse of ocean. The host Linzi was very attentive and discreet at the same time. Such a fantastic place with a gorgeous view and as a single traveller I felt very safe, secure and happy. Admittedly, it would have been quite nice to spend with someone else, but maybe next time! There will be a next time! The beaches close by were lovely and I enjoyed walking to Camps Bay for lunch also the opposite direction to the Viaduct for a spot of dinner.
