Beautifully restored old house with loads of character. Very comfortable rooms and you can't beat the location. Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Will be nice to have coffee and tea in the room and a pamflet with information like WiFi code, time that breakfast will be served etc.

The complimentary glass of bubbles was a great treat...we changed our plans and stayed there for dinner. Loved the french vibe. Breakfast was good We enjoyed the view from the balcony

Absolutely best location, with everything in walking distance and the best champagne lounge next door, couldn’t ask for anything more! Neels is a great host, and goes out of his way to make sure everything is just perfect.

The house was gorgeous, I had a beautiful view from my amzing bathroom.....a real room with a separate shower and bath, wooden floors brass taps and so on. Large comfortable bed, prettily dressed window overlloking the street. Great flexible lighting...I could see to read easily. Neels was warm and welcoming, and very flexible and easygoing. There is a lovely outdoor area with white metal table and chairs, secluded. Nothing could have been better from my perspective. Do be aware that its a university town so you may hear students

Nothing to dislike

The lodge is located very near from the city center (walking distance) in a quite vicinity. The room was large (the bed was really big!) and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helped us get around, even helping with booking to an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was huge and delicious.
