Don't particularly like the roads leading to the property and on our first day it was rather wet and dark. Wifi would have been great but DSTV provided some entertainment.

The place is beautiful and modern and fully equipped, the owner was lovely and welcoming and so was the caretaker. We had some ducks visit us and watched them from the balcony. Main attractions are a 10 to 15min drive away. It's a must stay.

We like the fact that the place is very spacious and offers that tranquil environment away from urban noise and pollution. The owner is accessible and staff are so kind and always available and willing to assist with anything we require.

We had no cleaners the whole weekend We had no one checking up on us, we don’t even know the owner of the apartment. The owner never checked us whether we need anything. I don’t think we will be visiting again.

The toilet flushing system needs work

The unit was clean, comfortable, and homely. It had a great view, and we enjoyed our stay. Every item that we needed for the stay was available. The kids got to enjoy their favorite shows on the TV.

The freezer door cannot shut properly, kettle broken more kitch3n utensils etc needed. Toilet system needs replacing as it runs non stop.

We got lost a lot, and no one knew where Peacock cottage was only to find the property name is different from the one on booking.

Unit showed appliances such a washing machine, dishwasher etc. But unit did not contain any detergents or tablets for guests to utilize these appliances. Also bath towel quality was slightly poor. Towel fluff would wipe onto body when trying to wipe dry.

The photos and contact details on booking.com were not updated. The white high chairs were torn and rusted at the bottom, the filter for the dishwasher was clogged, and the toilet was leaking at the bottom. Most of the cutlery was broken, and there weren't any proper teaspoons! It was an enjoyable stay, but please keep it maintained and give people a heads up of what to expect. Concerning staff, we only saw the maid when we were about to leave, so we never got our place cleaned during our stay.

I liked the fact that there was at least a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer.

The Pot's were dirty and the cutlery was old and rusting.

Main bedroom door was stuck open so we couldn’t close. Dstv was there but was not working. Tv & radio remotes were not working, I thought it’s the batteries and had to go buy but they still didn’t work. Luckily we brought our laptop and thankfully we could plug that and have something to watch.

Place was clean, spacious and with great facilities. TV was superb. Checking in/out process was a breeze. Felt like a home away from home. Our son didn’t want to leave in the morning 😅

Arrival. The host failed to advise the resort of our arrival or booking, thius key collection posed a problem. All efforts to contact the host by phone failed. Eventually a resort manager noted that this host has a habit of not informing them so allowed us to check in on the basis of our booking.com receipt. As they were unaware of our arrival the apartment was not prepped. Fridge was switched off and smelling. Linen was unwashed. Sheets were literally brown with stains. Blankets were stale. We will not be staying at this unit again....The resort YES most definitely.

Accommodation is beautiful unfortunately the parking area is too far from the Accommodation nd makes it really tedious when having to carry luggage from car to the Accommodations.

Main bedroom Bedding was not changed,it had stains, we had to change it ourselves upon arrival.

We liked everything about the place, just disappointed with the person who was cleaning the apartment.

It took us a long time to get the keys and the roads leading up to the cottage were really bad, it multiple potholes.

It was well maintained and quiet. Lovely views.

The shower facility drain is blocked it was certainly not pleasant to shower with standing water. There are no 2 pin plug points nor is there any 2 pin plugs available in the unit. More beddings are available however there is only 3 towels in the unit when it is a maximum of a 6 sleeper 😳 The tv can only be on or the sound bar where both should be available to be switched on at once. The remote for the sound bar is faulty and needs to be replaced.Beautiful lamps for lighting for perfect ambiance but nowhere to plug it.

Accommodation was absolutely beautiful and the home upgrades certainly made it feel like home

Braai area within the complex, not clean nor situated in a bright designated area. Parking area abit far to the top units. Rechargable lanterns required as load shedding is frequent throughout the day. Area for a game room within the complex should be considered.

The unit was clean and exceptional. What you see advertised is what you get. Beautiful furniture and deco. Beds are comfortable to sleep on both main and bunker room. All necessary utensils available at your disposal for use. Would definitely book again.
