The triple room is rather small and more suitable for a couple with a small child.

Paternoster Hotel is part of the heritage of the town. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. We booked a triple room at the last minute for 1 night sharing amongst 3 adults. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice. Enjoyed the evening and morning walks at the beach.

The lighting could have been brighter, but that's nitpicking compared to the fun of staying at this hotel.

This was a fun place to stay! It's a popular centrally-located hub of activity in Paternoster, combining the hotel, its famous panty bar, and a restaurant with indoor, outdoor, and veranda seating. Full of friendly people. Our room was more than adequate for a couple of nights and had a corridor that conveniently led to the hotel's secure parking area. Being towards the rear of the hotel meant it was quiet despite the activity in the front. We ran into some friends unexpectedly, so purchased some crayfish (spiny lobster) from local fishermen and had a tree-shaded 'kreefbraai' in the picnic area adjacent to the hotel, which for a few rand extra furnished us the pots, dishes, and flatware needed for our feast. A nice cooked-to-order traditional full-English breakfast was included. Plenty of other restaurants withing short walking distance or a quick drive, and beach access is right across the road and down a gentle hill. You're going to end up here at the hotel at some point anyway, so you might as well stay for a couple of nights.

Rooms are large and airy. Even as a fishing village,no smell. Staff are incredible and support and complement each other. Special thanks to Rosca, Carisma, bar, and breakfast staff. Laundry facilities available at Sea Breeze, walking distance and very well priced. Breakfast met our religious requirements.

Located next to the main road, pedestrians passing are loud, really loud, the staff would yell a reply back, not considering guests. On a Saturday morning the locals visited the bar, it was not pleasant.

Breakfast was very basic. but nicely prepared and enough to start the day. Would have preferred a juice, yogurt and some fruit.

Breakfast, bacon was awful and omelette not cooked 100% so we skipped our second breakfast. The chef was rude and kicked one of the stray dogs, I'm an animal lover so that didn't go down well with me.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was spacious and clean and view was great.
