We stayed in the hotel in winter time, so Johan (the owner) upgraded us to a bigger room, which was very kind. He was very hospitable, easy to communicate and helped us with everything we needed. The room has the best views over Knysna lagoon. Very good price for what you get.

Paradise Found is a real gem in Knysna! Johan is a wonderful host. Our two rooms both had spectacular views. Breakfast each morning was delicious and served on a beautiful terrace. Johan also made two excellent dinner reservations for us. Everything about Paradise Found was a delight!

I did not like only a rainy weather which we had for a day and a half.

The accommodation is situated in a very attractive place close to several attractions in Knysna. The view from the room is breathtaking when the weather is beautiful. International visitors add some additional vibe. Knysna cuisine presents with a great variety of tastes and flavors.

Johann...what a warm hearted, helpfull host. Already Paradise Foundation is exceptional- Johann makes it magical. And he had so many good, good tips where to go, what to do and where best to eat in Knysna area. In our 4 days, with so many nice and interesting talks, we can say Johan became a very good friend. There is only one thing we regret: we had to leave after 4 days. BUT: we will be back, for sure. We love you Johan- Hanna & Andreas

Easiest 10/10 review ever! A very comfortable room and balcony with a stunning view. Delicious breakfast served daily looking out over the lagoon. A wonderful host who was quick to respond to messages and had great local knowledge, all his recommendations were perfect. We would book here again without hesitation.

The location and views from the accomodation were great, the hygiene was top notch, the breakfast was great, but what I liked most was the incredible customer-friendliness, service commitment and communication with my host Johan. Breakfast every morning was a pleasure, not only because of the excellent breakfast, but especially the information Johan gave about the area and the country. Ask him a question, all the facts , and he has an answer. I learned a lot from him about this beautiful country. If I will come to this area again I would definitely book a stay with Paradise Found again. No doubt about it. I thought I had taken photos of the accommodation, but I seem to have forgotten. I do have a picture of the stunning sunrise view.

We staid for 4 days at Paradise Found and would come back again. Johan, our landlord and very ambitioned and successful biker had always time for us, read every wish from our lips, was flexible and a very interesting person and partner for good talks. We had the most amazing room with a full view of Thesen Island and some parts of Knysna. The breakfast was great and Dirkie and Johan were the friendliest hosts! It actually felt like home to us and we would always come back! Can recommend 100000%!
