Some small items could be updated. Over all we had a great weekend and look forward to returning.

Light was always ON and disturbing from the not functioning door inside the room, i think it leads to the other bathroom in the other room. We could hear each other from 2 separate rooms Pool was not cleaned during our stay, but functional. Few broken drawers needs adjustment

The location was great and place secured and peaceful. less than a Kilometre from Ocean's mall Staff service was good. We checked in very late and were not charged extra, the lady waited patiently. Rooms were cleaned when we gave permission. Air conditioner working, Laundry & ironing and Braai facilities. refrigerator, Kettle and microwave available WiFi connection, Smart TV, DSTV channels Very nice nice garden and Furnished Patio

There was a water problem in the area for 2 of the 3 nights I was there that hampered my stay a bit but the Host and her staff were proactive and forthright in their efforts to keep me informed and sorted. Otherwise I would have rated my experience there higher.

The location was great and the place was clean and the host and staff friendly. I would definitely go there again.

Cleanliness could have been MUCH better. The unit had roaches. It had a very moldy musty smell. I opened the sleeper couch to find old biscuits and lots of dust in the couch indicating that the couch is not thoroughly cleaned. When I opened the couch, it smelled musty because it’s not cleaned well and that just added to the already bad musty smell in the unit. I had initially opened the couch so that my daughter could sleep on it. I decided to be the one to sleep on it because I didn’t want her getting sick from the dust and dirt on the couch, it was better if I got sick. I had to cover the entire couch with blankets before I slept on it. I found cockroaches in the bathroom. The unit I was in was also next to an outside tap. The staff used that tap for water and when they walked there it was so loud because there is loose stones outside. So when they went to collect water you would first hear the loud “crunch crunch crunch” of footsteps, followed by a loud “BRRRRRRR” of water hitting the bucket accompanied by loud giggling and chatting as the people need to speak louder than the sound of the water. If I were the owner I would sleep in the units at least one or two nights a month to understand the true state of the units.

The location was fantastic. I walked less than 10 minutes to the Umhlanga Park Run. On my walk I saw security patrol cars in the area which reassured me of some level of safety. The unit I got had all basic amenities for self-catering including pots, utensils, a medium size very cold fridge. Zero check-in drama. The owner was really friendly and nice. The unit is clean at surface level when you walk in but there is room for improvement.

The room was small and cramped, and the fact that it was adjoining the main house or reception, I felt that privacy may be compromised.

The location is excellent next to all the facilities and very accessible. Well managed, clean, serine environment suitable for both business and leasure purpose.

The place was filthy, the walls grimy, the sheets dirty and the staff were unfriendly. It is not set up as a guest house, there’s no reception and you have to go through the family’s kitchen to get to your accommodation. The pictures are not a true reflection of the facility at all.

The place is not maintained. It looks and feel depleted.

The location was perfect as we were 4mins away from the shops & restaurants. The pool was a great feature but overall the accommodation is not maintained at all. There are broken cardboard and depleted walls and the doors were getting stuck. Its okay for 1 night and as a last resort.
