We stayed in the suite and enjoyed our stay. Great views of the sunrise and sunset. Massive lawns for kids to play. Awesome pool area with a lapa and braai facilities with a decent jungle gym with swings next to it. Breakfast is amazing and filled us up to the brim. The hosts are great, very accommodating and friendly. It’s on a farm that’s only 15 minutes away from Hartenbos beach, so you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of Hartenbos during the day and relax in peace and quiet in the evening.

Loved this place! Such a beautiful setting and really friendly and helpful owners! This was a great stop off for us before getting up early to head off for a game drive nearby.

The accommodation is great with many amenities. We stayed in the stone house which really has a magical feeling. I would definitely come again.

This was our second stay. We chose it again because the first time was such a great experience! Jean is a great and caring host. He really goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. We love that it is so close to Hartenbos, but on a quiet farm where you can just relax when you don't feel like crowds. You come as a guest and go home as friends. We also met the most wonderful people who also stayed there. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Peaceful location just a few minutes from Hartenbos. Great breakfast. Room was perfect, high pressure shower, huge bed and was nice and warm. Animals.

The soapbox above the washbasin is not practical, you even stuggle to wash your face.

The farm environment is very relaxing, and the people friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a very nice view outside. Offer dinner also was a bonus, although a bit expensive.

Family and Kid friendly, it ticked all my boxes. Animals, play area, pool, stunning views and lots of grass and space to run. The breakfast was lovely. The home made cherry jam was a winner. Jean is extremely accommodating, kind, humble and caring. He does a fantastic job on the farm, I don't know how he does it all. 1 night stay is not enough.

Although the bed was very comfortable the space between bed and wall was small.

Unfortunately heavy rain meant that we couldn’t cross one of the bridges to the property and had to take a longer detour.

We loved the hospitality and the communication from Jean and his team! He was so accommodating and made us feel like part of the family and gave us some great tips. Breakfast was freshly made to order and tasted great. Great value for money!

Our one night stay was amazing! We loved it the minute we arrived until we left. The room was so comfortable with a lot of space, with everything we needed. Beautifus surroundings with animals, kids loved to spend time with Whisper and Secret, the 2 horses. Food was delicious!! We highly recommend this lodge, Jean and his family will welcome you and let you feels like at home!

The road to the lodge is a bit bumpy and the location was a bit out of the way.

The room is nice and comfy, the place overall is very peaceful. The owners are amazing and ensures that your needs are met. The bed is great and the breakfast area is beautiful.
