The place is amazing, the kitchen was well stocked with everything that one would need for their stay. The staff was super friendly. The game drive was a highlight as well. We got to see elephants, rhinos, buffalos... just to mention a few. Gilbert, our tour guide, made the experience pleasant. Thank you, Ouklip!

There was no means of heating the tent at night. Was very cold.

We will be coming back for YEARS to come!!! Loved the location, about 30min outside Pretoria, all the tents are right next to the fence of the game reserve (awesome for viewing animals walking past), the tent was stunning, bedding was crisp and clean, decor and furniture was clean and classy yet keeping the "bush feel". Private boma is perfect, spacing in between the tents are perfect - far away enough to give you privacy, yet close enough if you book a couple of tents with friends/family. A couple of swimming pools with braai areas, perfect for the summer months.

We had a fantastic stay at Ou Klip! The tent was extremely well-equipped and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The spacing between tents ensured privacy, and we were lucky to have wildlife right in front of our tent—a truly special experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

The mosquitos but they were not hectic 🫣

The atmosphere is very peaceful and beautiful. We were surrounded by nature and animals and the owners and staff members were very polite and friendly. The accommodation itself was very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is very clean and blue and the game drive was amazing. It was our first time glamping and we had an exceptional experience.

We had a lovely couple of nights at Ouklip. The tent was so well equipped, and the whole property was so well managed. We had a great game drive with Gilbert :)

Nothing really, the things that were not enjoyable were due to the weather conditions. Bad storm one night and sleeping was very hard due to the flapping of the sides of the tent and lastly the heat, but our stay was in December, and Gauteng was experiencing a heat wave.

The privacy of each tent, place was very neat and included everything you needed for a comfortable stay. A great braai facility for each tent. The shop on the premises is awesome and is well stocked with necessities and even small gifts. The wildlife we saw next to the fence was awesome, and even all the animals gracing inside the lodge, we even heard the lions and hyenas.

There was a massive thunderstorm the first night, and there was water everywhere on the stoep and one are of our tent got flooded. I would suggest the owners also fix the drop down poles on the stoep.

We loved the look, feel and layout of the Tents and Boma - the tents are not too close to one another so there’s quite a bit of privacy, great layout! We also enjoyed the pool area and the fact that there was an area under roof with tables and chairs and a braai you could use next to the pool! The “honesty” shop was also an awesome experience with a great selection of items you’d need for a bush breakaway and more!
