South AfricaThe shower was overflowing into the rest of the bathroom. The room was on the third floor and the lift unfortunately out of order. Being senior citizens, this was challenging with regard to carrying luggage to our apartment. There was a continuous droning noise coming from outside during our stay. Not sure if it was a generator or something similar nearby The buffet breakfast was disappointing. Bacon was dry and over cooked. The options very limited and not not worth the price we paid extra.
The bedroom was neat and spacious with good view, Service was good and staff friendly.

South AfricaI arrived 14h10 but then I had to wait for +-30 minutes in the waiting area because my room was still not ready, still needed to be cleaned. Lifts were not working, had to take steps to 4th floor. When I came in my room, it was still not ready, bathroom a bit dirty, pillows without pillow cases. It was very disappointing.
It was close to everywhere I needed to go, ( the adventure places)

South Africaonly cremora with the coffee - it is known this is not good for one's health. The warm water tap in the bathroom was faulty and could not close properly. it would be good to have a small fridge in the room.
reception was effective, helpful and friendly. the room was spacious, all the equipment worked and the beds and pillows were good. Lovely shower and complimentary soaps. The porter called after me to remind me about items i forgot in the room - i really appreciated this gesture.

South AfricaThe one thing that truly made my stay unpleasant was the squeaky doors. Those doors squeaked almost all day because you can hear whenever people in the corridor or below opened the door. Not sure if it was just one particular door, or more.

The rooms were clean, and the staff was always friendly. Since the lift was not working, they asissted our friends who were elderley to have a room on the ground floor. The aircon was working well.

The property is old and in need of maintenance but for the price I was pleasantly surprised- staff were friendly and everything was processed swiftly and efficiently. The rooms are big and clean and comfortable- and with the central location, it was just what I needed.

South AfricaBecause they were booked to capacity, they struggled with managing the linen. When we checked into our room at 5pm there still weren't towels or covers for two of the pillows. I do feel the staff did manage it best they can though. Elevator was broken - clear maintenance is required throughout building.
The staff were friendly and helpful, even with the overwhelming number of guests they needed to manage given the rugby and biathlon in Oudtshoorn, meant the hotel was to capacity. Aircon was probably the best I've ever experienced in any hotel, must give them that. Swimming pool was really nice for a cool down after a very hot day.

South AfricaThere's an events Lounge of some sorts around the side corner of the hotel, which played loud music from 18h00. I asked the friendly staff if something can be done about it, since almost the whole hotel was booked with runners getting up at 03h00 the next morning for a big race, so they needed sleep. The staff must have done something because the music then was less noisy and we could sleep.
The pool is very big, it's clean and cool, exactly what I expected, it was lovely.

South Africa-Not equipped to deal with loadshedding. It was a hot weekend so when the power went out, even with opening the slide doors and going to the pool, there was no way to properly cool off with the heat. It's always a struggle to open the doors when entering the rooms and have to twist and tug the keys a few times. - Television does not have interesting channels and it's often fuzzy and does not allow for Bluetooth view or HDMI input. - there is no lace curtains under the curtains of the sliding doors so you can't open the curtains and have privacy.
Overall it was a nice vibe. Back yard view always breath taking.
