I liked the setting of the cottage on a historical property with seven other cottages /homes. It was cold but the cottage had a fireplace, a heater and an electric blanket. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a big fridge (which is not in the bedroom). It was comfortable and clean.

I love the location. The outdoor area is very spacious and the kids loved being outside. We had a braai almost every night. We love the two bathrooms. Perfect for the family. The fireplace is also a great feature since we love this cottage during the winter. Shops are in walking distance if you need milk or anything. For a self-catering place we were provided with enough coffee and tea for days. And it was the good stuff.

We loved the Cottage and its beautiful garden. Very comfortable and clean. Well equipped, with everything and more you need. Locations was great. Perfect starting point for the wine route.

An outside table would have been nice. Dogs at neighbouring house were noisy in the morning.

We had an amazing stay at Orchard Cottage. The cottage was cozy, so clean and well equipped for self catering. The kids had an absolute blast in the pool and garden. A great place to just recharge! The host was very friendly, accommodating and communicated well.

There is not much to complain about, it was really an enjoyable weekend and communication was clear and direct.

It was absolutely spectacular. We were in McGregor for an event, the cottage was situated 400m from the main hub of the town, so close to everything but far enough away for peace and quiet. Petro was extremely accommodating letting us check out a little later so we could do our event and then pack up afterwards so we didn't have to rush in the morning. A lovely bottle of wine and rusks, with spoils on our pillows as well. Very kind gesture and very appreciated. We will be back for sure

The entrance at the gate could be a little bit more explanatory

Everything was the best. warm and comfortable. All we needed was there. Just a bit of trouble getting in and out the gate, but we could manage that at the end.

I loved that it was surrounded by nature and a beautiful garden. We also liked the outdoor fire place in the middle of the garden where you can sit and relax under the stars with the fire going. The furnishings were lovely and we enjoyed the splash pool. I lovely place to get away in summer or winter.

A couple of comfortable outside chairs and maybe an umbrella so we could have sat outside in the sunshine. Maybe a file with emergency numbers and local restaurants in would have been welcome.

Lovely period cottage behind an electric gate. Comfortable bed and nice and clean. Mossie plugs were a bonus. Great welcome gifts and fresh flowers, we really appreciated them. We didn’t use the splash pool but it’s a nice addition.

The neighbors behind the cottage played music LOUD music till past 2am. I know out of the owners control.

The place has everything you need from spice, own veggies garden and fireplace in the cottage.they evens got me doom because I am scared of insects
