From the moment we arrived at Olive Grove Cottage, we were met with the warmest and friendliest welcome from Washington, who immediately made us feel at home – even offering us a lovely glass of wine to start our stay on the perfect note. The cottage itself is styled to absolute perfection – every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The décor is exquisite, combining comfort and elegance in a way that feels both luxurious and inviting. From the warm fireplace to the sherry waiting for a cozy evening, and all the other small, thoughtful touches, everything contributed to an unforgettable experience. Set in the heart of Koringberg, this little haven is surrounded by the beauty of nature – peaceful olive groves, fragrant lemon trees, abundant vegetable gardens, and scenic, manicured gardens. The setting is pure tranquillity, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We had an amazing experience at this beautiful establishment and truly can’t wait to return. Olive Grove Cottage is a place where every moment feels special, and it’s one of those rare gems you simply don’t want to leave.

We loved the beautiful gardens and down time under the trees. The unit has a very comfortable bed and the decor is gorgeously done. The weekend felt like a week holiday and we truly relaxed in the quite and serene Olive Grove Cottage.

Olive Grove is a basic, rustic cottage, just big enough for a couple. It was charmingly decorated, spotlessly clean, had a comfortable bed, and everything we needed. The host was amazing. He readily accommodated our late arrival and was warm and hospitable. The next day, he gave us an interesting tour of the grounds and gardens. Note: He had 4 boisterous welcoming dogs, which we loved ... but might not be for everyone.

Beautifully curated with bits & pieces of antiques & collectables. Washington was at the gate to meet us....and even got up at 6.30am in the freezing cold to say goodbye to us when we left ;-) Everything we needed was there....and the most brilliant little electric heater which looked like an old fashioned wood fire place & so effective in the rainy, cold night.....but we switched it off at bedtime as the lovely down duvets kept us snug & warm all night. The house is situated looking up, at the big hill behind....very picturesque. Will be lovely to come & stay in summer and spend time down in the beautiful garden under the olive (?) tree's. Thank you Washington for a lovely stay... we're sorry it was so short.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Not really knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. Washington the owner is fabulous, so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Even had a lovely glass of red wine and snacks ready for us on our arrival. The cottage is very comfortable in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Our breakfast served on the little verandah, outside the cottage was absolutely delicious.and especially prepared for vegetarians.

Needing a quick recharge, the location was the perfect distance from the hustle. A warm welcome on a cold day, the grounds are immaculate. The cosy cottage was beautiful and tastefully decorated and overlooks the olive groves. No surprise that breakfast was delicious. Just click book, your sanctity will thank you later, a place where you'll want to become friends with the hosts.

Everything during our stay was lovely but most specifically the support from our host was impeccable. He helped us with our dinner plans and checked in after a storm during our stay. And the coffee was great!
