If possible for breakfast to be a little earlier for those having a very early day, 6:30 would be ideal especially if the stay is work-related, would have liked to have enjoyed the breakfast for a little bit longer as it was so good!

I prefer showering and am always scared of the bath showers so a normal shower would be nice, but honestly it didn't influence a wonderful experience.

Such a great experience all round. Was booked at short notice. The owner even arranged an urber to collect us from the airport. Showed us around the B&B and gave a short background. Almost felt like coming home. The views are spectacular. We have already started planning our next trip back.

My daughter and I spent most of last week at Ocean Vista Boutique Guest House in Durban, and it was simply unforgettable. The property is stunningly beautiful. The kind of place that makes you stop and just breathe it all in. From our room, we had the most breathtaking panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. It’s no exaggeration to say that it’s even more beautiful in real life than the photos on Booking.com. Snezana, the hostess, is truly remarkable. She’s attentive, warm, and responsive, while also giving guests the freedom and privacy to feel completely at home. Her genuine kindness and care were evident in so many thoughtful touches - from daily treats like nougat or fresh fruit left in our room, to her warm greetings and helpful suggestions. The staff are equally outstanding – meticulous in their cleaning, with bedding and towels that are spotless and perfectly white. Breakfast each morning (included in the room rate) was delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, and supplies, including fresh milk and bottled water, were replenished daily. The location is excellent, making it ideal whether you’re visiting Durban for business or leisure. One gesture that truly touched me was when Snezana learned I don’t usually take breakfast because I find it too early to eat. Without me saying anything, she arranged for the staff to prepare toasted cheese sandwiches for me to take away, ensuring I still had something to enjoy later in the day. It was such a thoughtful, personal touch that spoke volumes about her hospitality. Thank you, Snezana, for making our stay so special. My daughter and I left with full hearts, sweet memories (quite literally!), and we cannot wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

There was no water on my 1st morning but this was out of their control as there was a burst pipe on the street, however speedy provisions were made for me to still be able to freshen up in the morning and the host was really gracious in providing updates throughout the day on the water situation until it was resolved,which was really appreciated

It's one of the most beautiful and cleanest accommodations I've ever booked, perfect location with dreamy ocean views. The host was very attentive and made me feel at home too. Definitely will be coming back. When I mentioned I would have to leave very early on my first day, a nice breakfast was very thoughtfully packed for me.

The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless and offered a stunning panoramic view. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view as well, and the host kindly allowed us to eat a bit earlier on our departure day due to our flight.
